is there a way to contact Jagex over account related issues that arent listed on their support page? i looked up and down the site and anything that seemed to hint towards that just led back to giving me a list of options that didnt remotely have anything to do with the problem im having.

The closest to direct support you'll get is by tweeting @Jagexsupport or submitting a ticket on the appropriate support page - What's the issue about? perhaps someone here can help you or atleast guide you in the right direction.

uuuuu i hate using twitter

i started OSRS yesterday to play with a friend and, when i went to sign in, it said i had last logged in "1099 days ago". i thought "oh, i probably started an old school account and did nothing with it", and expected to sign in at tutorial island or lumbridge.. but i was in camelot. all of my stats were 1, except agility was at 25.. and woodcutting was at hecking 89. my bank didnt have a pin, which i always set up, and was filled with 700 yew logs and a bunch of random event items.
i think a bot had access to my account until i had ended up changing my password around 3 years ago, and i wanted to ask Jagex what they wanted to do with my account. i wouldnt want to start playing on an account that had either been stolen or had bot activity on it and suddenly get banned while i was in the groove of things, and its possible there could be info relating to my account that could help with bot stuff in the future (i have no idea how that works), so i wanted to contact them and ask personally.

tl;dr last night i started OSRS only to find out that my account had been accessed 3 years ago and had some stuff on it that i can only assume is the result of a bot doing bot things until i changed my password so i wanted to ask Jagex if they wanted to disable my account over it or if i could continue with my plan to start trying OSRS.

I would imagine that if your account hasn't accessed old school in 1099 days as you say. then Jagex can see that the illicit activity was through no fault of your own as you secured your account and never entered old school. If you're concerned with the usage of ill gotten gains as in the logs you didn't chop yourself you could always empty out your bank and drop everything on the floor so you start fresh :)

i hope so, though im still a bit worried..
i actually did kinda do that! i sold all the junk that was in there and, instead of buying something "useful" that could give me an advantage, i just used the money to buy a trimmed set of wizards robes. almost completely useless, but still kinda fancy looking! now i have around 1k gp and im ready to try and remember how to do the cooks quest!
