Hello
Runescape help page says nothing about transfering authenticator from one device to another.
I currently possess both, but I need to transfer it to the new device as soon as possible, as I'm giving the old one to my relative.
The only thing i found on the help page is how to set up the authenticator and how to disable it.
And when i clicked the rs support page, it showed me the ready step by step guide and didnt take me to the page where i could write a ticket to support.
So that lead me here. Does anyone know how do i transfer authenticator to another device? Or how do i contact jagex?

I did try disabling it and re-enabling it
but instead, it ties it back to my old device
I remember it showing qr code the first time, to connect to my initial phone
This time instead of showing that on the screen it just re-connects to my old phone

I actually had to do this not so long ago after getting a new phone for my player account.

I went to the authenticator tab in my account menu and clicked on disabling Authenticator.

It will then send you an email to your registered address for you to click to complete disabling the authenticator (I believe this is the part that you are missing).

Once you click on the link it will take you back to the login webpage of your account to login again with your credential which will also take you back to the authenticator page.

Click on "Enable Authenticator" then click on the "Scan" tab to see the QR code and scan it with your new device via the Authenticator app.

Enter the new code provided by your app and your Authenticator should now be enabled.

I actually just did it myself to verify it.

Let us know if it worked for you! :)
