I usually use my ipad with stand in front of my keyboard for rs wiki while playing the game on desktop pc. Lately there are some ads that I simply can't block including one that has become a 100% successful re-direct ad that makes the wiki literally inaccessible. I use current ios and google chrome if that helps...how can I block this?

edit: the re-direct has rendered the wiki useless to me for about 72 hours as of now
edit2: I have attempted several ad-blockers even some which specifically state compatibility with chrome, yet when I configure they are only usable with safari which I'd rather avoid.

I'm not sure why you're asking about that here. Jagex doesn't oversee either site so Jagex isn't responsible for any advertising that may cause problems. I recommend you don't use
https://runescape.fandom.com/wiki/
and instead use
https://runescape.wiki

You didn't say which site you are using but after checking the advertising in my own web browser I guess you are using the Fandom site. The people in charge of the RS wiki and Fandom.com have gone their separate ways. However, Fandom.com kept the content of the wiki. I guess they are still using it to get income from advertising. Perhaps their advertising has become more aggressive. Use the new wiki site I referred you to.

Thank you I will try this advice. The reason this is here is because the wiki owners say only to use an adblocker which was a dead-end to me, so my hope was another rs player may have found a solution to a similar situation. consider it a last-ditch effort.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Edit: The above suggestion seems to be my solution, thank you for taking the time to help me, and perhaps others will profit from this as well
