Beemansaid: Hypothetical situation, and a concern for me:
I think agility experience should only be counted when a player has started a course after the clock has started.
I imagine clans of 500 people all going to the Dorgesh-Kaan Agility Course (for example), and nearly completing their respective routes, leaving only the "give item x to Turgall" step. Then the clock starts for the clan, and everyone dumps the 2,057 xp drop all at once. That's 1m xp in one tick... Just seems like cheating to me. you clearly didn't read the post. only top 10 scores will be counted.
Will the Clan Plaque be updated with the winner(s)? Will there be a commemorative trophy or statue near the clan portal?
I really like the idea of only counting base XP (no p2w!), and having a clan name title.
the main gripe i have with this is the XP boost reward. I think it's sorta unfair for only 10 clans out of all "active" ~3,500 to have +75%/double the xp buff (even if it's only for a month)... it might drive clan members to leave and join those clans and promotes poaching just for the extra efficiency. I understand it's a motivator, but I don't think it's healthy to incentivize competitions with such an OP advantage. Maybe something like the quartermaster/clan cloak giving double BXP for a month instead?
