It looks like blast furnace was pushed to the background. There is no longer a dedicated blast furnace world; W58 was changed into another artisan's workshop world. Also, placing ores on the conveyor belt no longer happens all at once; instead it happens at a rate of one ore per click. The place is still empty most of the time, and I honestly don't see it getting much love in the future. Which is a shame because I wanted to make all my rune ore into bars without having to mine luminite.
THE DEATH OF THE BLAST FURNACE should be the title because they killed it.
Don't get me wrong, I love the M & S rework 110%
The bank is great but it does little good if all your ore is in your METAL bank. Add a way to access that would help. I went there to make rune bars w/o Luminite but realized all my ore was in my metal bank and I had to move it back in to my bank
THE IDEA BELOW IS BECAUSE THE PLACE IS DEAD, THE MINI GAME DEPENDS ON MORE PEOPLE USING THE FURNACE.
I'm all for making it similar to OSRS in on a certain designated world or worlds npc's work the furnace for a price that continuously needs to be maintained. On OSRS, The process for operating the Blast Furnace is as follows: Most of the tasks are done for you by the dwarves running the blast furnace on the Blast furnace home worlds. For this service, it costs 72k coins per hr, but is highly recommended for speed of training. The worlds are packed with players. It acts as a gold sink.

- Being a bit too off-limit: Introduce the AW cellar and relocate it there. - Reduce the smithing requirement from 65 to 30 and remove all secondary requirement (they only award token xp anyway) - Consider secondary free orichalcite smelting. Maybe higher levelled ores could also be unlocked with quests.
