I'm currently saving up to craft my very own customized (soulbound for reduced cost) trimmed augmented masterwork armor set. The main thing I need clarified are:

1) How many of the lower tier bars, bronze-elder rune do I need to get before I can get to work on crafting the actual armor?

2) Is it only the tier 92 version that benefits from the zero degredation in slayer/boss slayer and the damage stagger perk?

3) What happens when I augment it? Do I still get that zero degredation bonus on the augmented gear? This could be the make or break for me, because if it does eat through my charge pack like crazy and/or cause me to keep having to buy masterwork armor sets just to keep it alive, why would I waste it on slayer/boss slayer?

Ideally I'll have one single armor set I can augment for both slayer/boss slayer and high level pvm to replace both my torva and bandos sets, that won't annihilate my bank when using it on slayer/boss slayer (the reason why I had a cheaper, separate slayer set to begin with). But it's still hazy on how this armor works and the armor will just get sold off and I'll keep my torva if it proves not worth it.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

It's 600 of each bar according to RS wiki. Can't answer your other questions but maybe these pages will contain the information you're looking for.

600 Bronze Bars, 600 Iron Bars, 612 Steel Bars, 600 Mithril Bars, 600 Adamant Bars, 1,200 Rune Bars*, 600 Orikalkum Bars, 600 Necronium Bars, 600 Bane Bars, 600 Elder Rune Bars, 12 Soft Leather
*600 used for Elder Rune Bars

You'll also need another 384? Elder Rune Bars to smith a +5 Elder Rune Set from scratch to unlock the ability to craft Masterwork in the first place.

Yes, and only once you bind it permanently to yourself on the former topic of degredation.

Degredation bonuses apply to augmentation, so you'll only have to buy gloves, boots, and helmets.

Hope that answers your questions.

I can answer your first question. You need 600 bars from bronze to elder to make all the concentrated alloy bars you need to start working on the things needed for the masterwork armour (full set). You will then need 12 more steel bars for the masterwork rivets you need and you will need 12 masterwork trims (to make those you will need another 12 rune elder bars and 12 praesulic and 12 malevolent essence) to trim the masterwork armour. First though, you will have to unlock the ability to make masterwork armour by making a full set of rune elder armour +5, so you will need another 384 elder rune bars.

If anyone finds something wrong with my math, please correct.

Edit: Oh yea, and 12 leather.

I totally forgot about the extra elder bars I'd need on reserve for the +5 elder set to even unlock the recipe. Good catch!

:3 I've already made the gloves, boots, and legs. I'll be making the rest over the next few days before I settle into making my other five sets over the next month.
