Just had a quick question. Is the Metal Bank supposed to have the feature that our regular banks have and utilize the bank pin? I hope that wasn't something that was not missed. Unless, this is already a known issue?
Look forward to your responses...

Serene Steelsaid: Wouldn't you also have to enter your pin before you smithed anything too, then? The PIN has to be entered once a session anyway, it doesn't really matter what activity brings up the interface since you only see it once. In the event the player hasn't already accessed his bank or the GE, having the PIN check there would make sense.
The PIN exists as a safety precaution; it doesn't always have to make sense within the game world. As long as we don't start having to enter it more than once within the same session, it wouldn't be any more intrusive than it already is.
In this case it's of special importance, since the metal bank is designed to hold up to 2 billion each of every type of ore and bar. Dedicated miners and smiths may have most of their wealth in ores and bars stored in the metal bank.
