Since Runite, Adamantite, and Mithril rocks are now respectively levels 50, 40, and 30 Mining (and Smithing, by extension), it does not make sense for them to remain at the Trahaearn Mining Site in Prifddinas, the High-Level City.

As such, they should be replaced with appropriate ore nodes in balance with the prestige and achievement of Prifddinas.

It is my suggestion, therefore, that Runite be replaced with Banite ore, Adamantite be replaced with Necronium ore, and the coal rocks nearby be replaced with Phasmatite and Light Animica, especially considering that Prifddinas is Seren's city and the Dark Animica is to Zaros as the Light Animica is to Seren.

This only makes sense.

I agree with all except phasmitite and banite. Those are tied to specific locations for a reason.

If they don't replace Runite and Adamantite with the new corresponding ores for balance, then they might as well remove the mining site altogether because they can't balance it due to self-imposed limitations.

If the lore behind banite and phasmitite was going to create such an annoying balancing issue for the game, then they should never have proceeded with either of those as a core resource in the first place and done something else instead.

Balancing the game should always, always take priority over convoluted narrative elements that are subject to change and alteration anyways.

Dont you get a Dark or Light Animica rock when Voice of Seren is on the Trahaearn area (random which 1)?

No idea, but you can also find Light Animica in Lletya, so I don't see why it shouldn't be readily available in Prif, which requires far more quests to gain access to than Lletya.

The problem is that with this update, a portion of the Trahaearn district has become as obsolete as the old M&S skills were. There is no reason for high-leveled players to mine runite, adamantite, mithril, or coal actively. They need replaced with something appropriate for higher levels.

I agree with replacing some with higher level ore rocks however, I would maybe leave 2 coal and the 2
Rune
there since rune is still used to make
Elder Rune bars
. Or replace some coal with
Luminite.

The Voice Of Seren does give a chance of both
Dark
and
Light Animica
rocks appear.
However, too many times it's only one rock and it messes with the Rockertunities when there is only one. I might add
Dark Animica
is just a little farther to get to then Light, so I like it showing up in Trahaearn.

(Need more color choices lol)

Totally agree it should be updated.
1. Runite I would leave a couple rocks as it's the base "ore" for making elder rune. Maybe 2 luminite to go with these.
2. Coal not really needed. If you're desperate for coal, coal trucks still exist, unchanged.
3. Leave the VOS Dark/Light Animica spawns; this saves trips to isafdar and to the empty throne room, but I would increase the chance of spawns. Visited several worlds today during VOS and 3 of them had zero animica spawns. Very frustrating. With 24 ore rocks, at least a 1/15 chance for each to convert to either animica should yield 1 at least per world.
4. Nd Drakolith and Oricalc (T60)
5. Nd Phasmatite and Necrite (T70)
6. Nd banite (T80).
Current config has 8 coal spawns, 6 mithril (north and east sides of mithril hump unused), 8 addy spawns, and 2 runite spawns.
