With the events of the last few months, I feel that are some things that need to be addressed.

The biggest one I feel are the seemingly whimsical priorities. I'll just format this in a Drake meme style template to get the point across:

JMods reviewing FMR in a timely manner (I don't want to hear nothin' about only CM JMods reviewing it- Lee has reviewed it at one point and he is not a CM JMod): :(

Deciding forum boards that are seemingly inactive needing to be closed, some of which sparked heated commentary amongst the community regarding elitism and further driving a wedge in the community at large, and doing so almost immediately: :D

Like I'm seriously beginning to wonder where the hell their priorities are. No, I don't want a "we'll pass this along" as that's a platitude (Trust me, I work in retail, it is a platitude). I want answers. Like I think we should focus on things that actually matter (Like accountability, the Forum Users Online count to more accurately reflect activity, and a Posts Made within the last day type thing) rather than things like pruning an already largely pruned forum because bureaucracy.

What do you guys think?

Well, lol, the way things are going I'm not sure this thread will remain open. It's starting to smell a lot like we're not allowed to talk about or complain about things we are not happy with - especially anything related to the Forums.

The person in overall charge here wanders in after a very long absence, stickies a random thread in OT, then vanishes again without taking care of pressing business (FMR).

Priorities indeed.

But hey! No worries. Concerns are being 'passed along'. (then trash-canned, it seems).

No point really.

I have no doubt that the sole person in charge of CM now is very well aware of their dereliction of duty so far as the RSOF is concerned and is perfectly happy to do nothing about it.

'Passing things along' is clearly pointless since the one and only individual at Jagex who is employed to do what is needed clearly can't be bothered.

Incoming thread lock and another trite message imminent here.

If the threads kept civil then there is no reason for it to be locked. ;)

As for Review I'll say it again you can beleive me or not but it has been passed along quiet a few times and all I can say is it's in hand.

I'm not sure what the holdup is. I wish I did know but the fact is I don't have a clue.

I will still be guiding people to make use of it as it's there to seek a second opinion about F-Mods actions. I'll stop guiding people there once Jagex tell me.

@Team the Forum makeover was very much needed. I was against it and put up a fight to keep some sections. Including 1 in HLF. The makeover if you had to ask me has worked out well. It's made the forums run much smoother. It has been needed for a long time and it was done very well. Fungers crossed the number of threads and posts ill also improve. It would be nice to see some forum stats posted by Jagex. Maybe they will.

I will say it again about FMR. I have passed it along.

As you say, Tuffty. It has been passed along quite a few times. I don't doubt your word on that.

However, since nothing has been done and no one at Jagex has even had the courtesy to explain why things have reached the wretched state they are in, it is inevitable that forumers will get angsty about it.

For years I only looked at these forums because I was curious how they would end.

Now I only look every few months to see how bad things have gotten.

No Jmod interaction at all.
Two rent-a-mods that dont really understand the forums or their history.
FMR being shown for the nonsense it always was.
I suppose all that was predictable.

Stoat thats your reply with out the Mod comments.

Lets keep it civil.

Fifi the moment I or others find anything out then the rest of the community will know.

As for the first bit: I'm not going to argue whether or not it was needed, but rather if it was essential in the grand scheme of things.

Like, it has to be admitted that thread maintenance regarding Moderator accountability is infinitely more important than closing Forum boards that may or may not be inactive because...what seemingly appears to be "Reasons" and "Reasons" alone.

It would be like me in my job saying that rotating stock that was put up a week ago is more important than helping a frustrated customer who is approaching me about a matter in the now. It simply can't be compared.

For the second bit: I'm also not going to say whether or not you guys are not passing it along as that's not only not my position to say such, but it'd also be rude of me to make presumptions.

I will remark it as "it's telling if even the Moderators are being ignored, presuming it to be true."

And I agree with the last part of Stoat's post very much. (The removed part).

That was despotism at it's finest and the rest of the FMod team should absolutely challenge it - in private in your own forum. It makes the rest of you look like minions.
