Removed posts what do you see?

I've Removed plenty of mistakes or double up posts - they are the majority of my removals. I've also removed posts that weren't so friendly after second thoughts. I usually write, but not always the reason of removal - which is not a necessity, example: double, wrong thread, quoted by mistake or even just a dot or the word edit. I've seen others write change of mind etc.

- Should edited/removal of post be seen as malicious, disruptive, flaming etc?
- What if it's after a certain poster or post <- Does this change your views?
- What if it's a certain poster who's removed post?

What are your views on Removal of posts?

Do you think all edited posts, should be seen and not covered up?

I don't frequently remove posts unless I realize that my post was irrelevant to the topic afterwards.

If I make a mistake, I might edit it or I might leave it, I'm not someone that's afraid to own up to mistakes I've made.

When you come across other forumers that have removed their posts how do you feel?

Only mods can remove posts, if that's what you mean instead of replacing the original content with a blank post or a ".".

Anyway, I am not against letting players to remove their own posts because practically to me, what I see is what I get. I am here to see the latest and "greatest" (or "badest";) posts of other users. Whatever he wrote in the past was in the past. What is there currently is the only thing matters. :D:D:D

Thank you for your views - I'm off the same mind.

The reason I used remove instead of edit, is that I am referring to the posts that have been completely removed with just a dot or explanation, no conversation value at all. Edited posts can still have conversation value <- I hope this makes sense :)

Correct. An empty post is nothing. It has no value, and in fact, nothing but a time stamp.

Why let empty vessels make any sound in the forums? They don't belong, so I support empty vessels to be removed for the sake of the forum users who come here to look for real discussions of relevant Runescape topics. :D:D:D
