Yes, there will be a poll - a new skill isn't something that would qualify as protecting game integrity. Additionally, prior times that a new skill was proposed for OSRS a poll was held; those skills did not pass however.

Then again, there is the argument that new skills are needed for the game to progress and that the community is close-minded to any newly proposed skill whether it be because they dislike change or because they cba to train any new skills to efficiently play the game. Personally, I think it qualifies as an integrity fix and any new skill proposed whether it be warding or anything else be treated as such.
I haven't clicked on any phishing links and as a result, I haven't gotten hacked. Git gud nubnubs.

To answer the OP, yes there will be a poll. This paranoia against warding has got to stop. If they wanted to force things in, they would've done so by now. I haven't clicked on any phishing links and as a result, I haven't gotten hacked. Git gud nubnubs.

Honestly I would contend that warding is an "integrity fix" if for nothing else OSRS NEEDS item sinks, much like RS3 did before invention was rolled out.

OSRS team has been doing a good job with a few niche items
Whips, Saradomin Swords, etc.

But I think the dev team would of taken the lessons from RS3 and the decade and 1/2 and learned from how things happened that time around
So it's basically inevitable that a heavy item sink is coming and needed.

PS. with as much work as the dev team has put in with all the player feedback I'd be highly surprised it doesn't get added to the game

Don't spite vote all PvP updates because of how frightened you are of PKers and then cry about how everything needs to be shoved in as integrity
