Theres a common running debate in osrs about the dice/gambling bots. You know the ones. They sit around the g.e all day, people trade them and have a chance to double their money if the number is higher than -blank-.

Simple game but still against rules. Ive never done it, i just watch people lose their money daily to the bots. But the question has recently popped into my head about who is right on the debate.

the debate:

The debate is that some people claim only the gambling bot can be banned for gambling, whereas others say both player and bot can be banned for gambling.

What are your thoughts?

The Game Rules do include participation in games of chance in the description for the rule:

“You must not advertise, organise, promote, or take part in any unofficial player run games”

So yes, participating could lead to account action.

Participation can also be banned, rules a very clear on that. "When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time, as a great hero"
