Offensive language includes but is not limited to racism, making fun of another player's religion, orientation, gender or political views. Drug related topics are not allowed. Religious and political discussions are not necessarily banned, but use common sense. The reason for these rules is that these topics have a tendency to start arguments, which we do not want. Discussions are fine, arguments are not.
2. In the event of multiple hosts do not favor one over the other. •
If you are saying who the host is, you are not obligated to say who all of the hosts are. However, you must not promote one over the other. For example, "Rising is hosting!" is acceptable. "Rising is hosting, best layout, fast lighter! Better than Jolie!" is not.
3. No talking about donations in the clan chat. •
Donations are a large part of hosting, and many hosts will accept them.
Trading is a part of any large community, such as 07 Altar. You may say whether or not you are buying something as long as your posts are 3 minutes apart. This rule also applies for bone runners.

The reason for this is so 07 Altar can provide the best possible hosting service. If we did not require people to be in the clan chat to be advertised, there would be no point in using this clan chat, thus 07 Altar would cease to exist. In the event of there being no host in the clan chat who is hosting, but someone outside of the chat hosting; it is acceptable to advertise them. But if a host in 07 Altar opens their home, they should be advertised over the other person unless they join the clan chat as well.
This is not an attempt at racism, we simply wish to prevent confusion by asking that everyone speak the same language. Due to the large majority of RuneScape players speaking English, English is that language.
In most cases you will not be kicked without warnings. Ranks are required to give a person a minimum of three warnings before a kick. If you believe you have been kicked unfairly, contact a higher rank. A screenshot is not required, but highly recommended.
Once and a while people who are not on W330 may be kicked due to the clan chat being full. Plenty of warnings will be given beforehand.

So, you might be wondering, "What do I have to do to start hosting in 07 Altar?"
Just have a
To have a lot of people in your house it's advisable to private message the current host and ask when he/she will be done; and if they wouldn't mind giving you a heads up when they're about to close. That way, you don't end up hosting for three people.
Now you might be wondering, "How can I be a
While a gilded altar is the only actual requirement to host, it's highly advisable you have a glory teleport next to your altar.
As well as an altar/glory, I would recommend having a mahogany eagle lectern, or a mahogany eagle lectern and a mahogany demon lectern. Of the two, the eagle lectern is by far the most used.
If possible, having a Canifis (Kharyrll) portal in your house is advised, due to many people wanting to use one.
07 Altar is also a common place for people wishing to repair their Barrows armor come to, so having a repair stand in your workshop is a great addition to your house.
If you want help in building a house with a good hosting setup, feel free to contact myself or any other rank/host.

Besides gaining prayer levels, there is another benefit to 07 Altar: Money. Below are listed the ways to actually use this clan chat to increase your bank.

It is possible for everyone to obtain a rank. While it
Ranks are chosen by other ranks. A certain number of recommendations is required for a person to advance. One of the best ways to get ranked is just be noticed. This is done by hosting and being active in the clan chat.
Recruits are those who host often as well as be helpful and friendly in the clan chat. They attempt to follow the rules and frequently let people know who is hosting when asked.
Corporals are even more active than recruits. They follow the rules to the best of their ability and assist in moderating the clan chat. A corporal has the authority to give 3 warnings before requesting a kick from a higher rank.
Sergeants are the lowest kicking ranks in the clan chat. They are given the very important responsibility of clan chat moderation. A good sergeant knows when and when not to kick. They are very active in the clan chat, and assist players whenever they can.
Lieutenants have shown a high level of maturity as well as been apart of 07 Altar for a good period of time. They are expected to do everything ranks lower than them do and more. They assist lower ranks in moderating the clan chat as well as assist them in becoming better moderators. Lieutenants are expected to be friendly and helpful to everyone.
Captains have been with 07 Altar for an even longer time than lieutenants. They are characterized by their outstanding moderating skills and unbiased judgement. They have great connections and relationships with all ranks and upcoming ranks. Captains play a major part in the ranking up process, as well as clan chat management.
Generals are clan chat leaders.

Being kicked from the clan chat is not the same as being banned. If you are kicked for whatever reason, you may return in one hour.
However, if you frequently disrupt or troll the clan chat, you may end up being banned from entering the clan chat. As is with rank ups, a certain number of ranks must recommend a player for being banned for any action is taken. Recommendations for banning expire after two weeks. If a rank recommends a player to be banned, the player will be notified by another rank.
If you find yourself banned, depending on the offense, you may be allowed to rejoin the clan chat. This will be done by a case-by-case basis.
