Was doing the new case today and noticed Apothecary mentioning that the robber spoke the word "Vosk." In case you don't know this is a word from the Dragonkin language. Its been shown that Sakirth will appear in Kindred Spirits, and that Robber in the Darkness is required currently for it.

The description matches up, the talons, the scorched mark. Now what about the light being sucked out of the room? Sliske. What if Sliske has captured Sakirth and is using him to gather several items from him, but does not want to stir up too much trouble if Sakirth goes barging in and killing everyone, so is giving him the ability to create darkness in the area he is in. A dragonkin can travel to other planes, which would explain why Gypsy Aris couldn't feel connections with the stolen crystal ball.

So what could Sakirth be gathering these objects for?

I asked Kerapac if it was him.
He said "No."

It should be noted that vosk means "false user(s)"*, so unless he was just slurring about Sliske, that may be relevant to his actions.

* It's not actually translated in the primer, but we do have this line from Kerapac: "The curse that my kind suffers is like a chain that connects us to the Stone of Jas and also to the Vosk...Sorry. The 'False Users'."
"Abscondita est in Astra."

It's clearly Armadyl pretending to be a Dragonkin. He must be stopped. You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

I think this is the answer. Sliske was once a Stonetoucher, but I believe he's now crossed the line into Falser User. The suspicion is that the fire put out the lights, but I don't believe that. I believe Sliske is the robber, and Sakirth has been hot on his trail. Sliske stole all the items for one reason or another, but since Sakirth is going after Sliske, Sakirth is going to leave a bigger mess than the very "slippery" Sliske, so Sakirth himself appears to be the robber.

Wake me up when Osborne resigns | Will not be renewing membership until Jagex deals with its toxic developer culture & has a new, better lead designer | *Soon TM” is not a fun joke, it is an admission the company is an embarrassment
