@Autumn I'm pretty sure the bafflement caused by your suggestion that WTL2 > FOT*2 is due to the fact that Seren and the elves already had a lot of closure at the end of Within the Light; there are loose ends, but it was still a finale. Zaros/Zimzams and the Mahjarrat, while they've had tons of content, don't currently have that closure.
Suggesting that we open another chapter in the elf plotline so soon, before the Mahjarrat (or indeed, any other ongoing questline) get their closure, is pretty ludicrous.Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Hazeelsaid: Personally I found the Myreque to be the strongest questline among the 5th age...but...that's still "the best of the worst" to me. And yeah, I haven't been fond of this year's questions except for KS. Gnome, desert, pirate, cave goblin, (arguably) dwarf, and of course the Mahjarrat questlines are all superior.Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

For the record, I wasn't saying that all those other quest series were solid gold. Just that they were better. I would tend to agree with Autumn when it comes to the quality of the Myreque quests. The Myrequests, if you will.
Personally I really love the gnome and pirate questlines. Dwarf is also pretty good, but has more mediocre points. I love the Kharidian desert as an environment; some of the quests there are really excellent, some less so. Cave goblin series is probably one of the most cohesive questlines in the game; I personally don't care for it all that much but it's well put together.
In any case, I would rank all of them above Myreque.Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.
