For the record, I wasn't saying that all those other quest series were solid gold. Just that they were better. I would tend to agree with Autumn when it comes to the quality of the Myreque quests. The Myrequests, if you will.

Personally I really love the gnome and pirate questlines. Dwarf is also pretty good, but has more mediocre points. I love the Kharidian desert as an environment; some of the quests there are really excellent, some less so. Cave goblin series is probably one of the most cohesive questlines in the game; I personally don't care for it all that much but it's well put together.

In any case, I would rank all of them above Myreque.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

The best quest series is objectively Elemental Workshop.

DO NOT SPEAK HIS NAME, KEMTROS!!! He is to be referred to as "The Dreaded Captain."
That being said, I think... he.. is connected to Xau-Tak in some way, so if we are to deal with Xau-Tak, we have to deal with him, even if indirectly.

Anyway, to the matter at hand. I've found most of the questlines to be well written, if you look at them from the right perspective. You can call me an optimist, but I prefer to call it.. having fun.

Don't tell Balustan that! "Fun" is an alien concept.

But yeah, I figure that there's a connection to Xau-Tak. Well, at least it means that the Pirate series might have some connection to stories I'm more interested in. At least it'd do more than making Rocking Out a rather excessive requirement for Ritual of the Mahjarrat. And that's even considering all the requirements for While Guthix Sleeps.

Well if you want to be technical about it, EVERY quest was a requirement for While Guthix Sleeps when it came out, as it required you to have 270 Quest Points.. which was the maximum before its release.

Oh, I know. It's just that Rocking Out only seems to be required for Ritual of the Mahjarrat because you encounter the Dragonkin on Mos Le'Harmless, but that doesn't make much sense to me, since you only have to do up to Cabin Fever to get to Mos Le'Harmless. Was the idea that you had to do every Pirate quest that had been released by then? Except A Clockwork Syringe was released before Ritual of the Mahjarrat. I don't know, I just think that when Ritual of the Mahjarrat was getting into specific requirements, Rocking Out seemed rather unnecessary.

I assume Rocking Out was so that you didn't need the Book of Piracy. You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
