Hey all, i just wanted to post a very quick, not much evidence theory.

In the Lord Of Vampyrium quest, Drakan states that one of the Myreque or one of their allies killed Safalaan Hallow's father, King Ascertes. Vanescula states that she did not kill him, so one of the Myreque must have, so Ascertes must have become a vyre. What if we killed him at the end of Branches Of Darkmeyer? Could it explain the power of one of the most vicious Vampyres of all time? That is right, what if Vanstrom Klause.....is King Ascertes Of Hallowvale.

I know that Ascertes was just a human but he could very well have been a powerful one, perhaps proficient in the art of magic? Drakan may have controlled Ascertes' mind to believe he was a vyrelord (yes he can mind control, even w/out the ring of Charos), and then Drakan turned him into one of his most trusted vyres. It really is ironic if this were true...How Safalaan's biggest enemy was his own father, warped into a creature of darkness, who was once a being of purity under Saradomin...

Yea i saw your theory but i think my one makes a load of sense...Drakan can mind control, so maybe he tricked Ascertes into thinking he was a vyre and renamed him Vanstrom Klause...
Besides this would still be a plot twist if Vanescula knew all along and then tells us that we are the killer of poor Safalaan's dad...

We will almost certainly see Efaritay in RoB and she will definitely be fighting Vanescula, so maybe if we tell her about our achievements in the Myreque, she could get upset at the mention of Vanstrom and tell us that we killed him in vyre-mode...

Here's something, what if Vanstorm was none other than... Ivandis Seergaze? He was the only Priestly Warrior who was not buried in Paterdomus, but instead in a cave near where the Mort Myre Order of the Myreque were. Notice how we never looked in his coffin? For all we know, the tomb could just be a cover-up for what really happened! Just like Ascertes, having Ivandis Seergaze, arguably the most powerful of the Seven Priestly Warriors, would be a fantastic trophy for Lord Drakan to have!

As it turns out, it looks as though none of the 7 were buried in Paterdomus, in the ghoul crypt you can find 6 saradominist coffins, looking almost identical to the reworked Ivandis coffin...It must be the rest of the 7.
