With the revealing of Hallow's status as an astral rune plane, and how sentient life is influenced by the magical energy the plane's alignment-.. Well, night and day would be things are nice astral concepts, so if the icyene are day, the other species was probably just like... a night version, I'd say.Mods pls notice me
Tbh I think the wyrd thing - while definitely having to do with an icyene's unique magical mumbo jumbo - is because an icyene's magic and soul is highly light-aligned versus blood magic's and vyres' dark nature. Causes a huge magical/spiritual clash, yanno? A vampyrized ourg would probably just be a reeaally big vyre, a vampyrized auspah would... probably be a normal vyre. Maybe use bloodfire spells depending on if those are still canon in any way. -shrug- Vampyrized demons tho... Not sure. Cuz they have ichor instead of normal blood, right? And they're already dark-aligned and probably magical enough to resist with their own magical mumbo jumbo.Mods pls notice me

I can't really get behind that either, as cool as it would be it wouldn't make sense. The Icyene would inhabit the light side of the planet and that race would inhabit the dark side. So what reason would they actually have to clash against each other? It's not like they'd really be competing for land and they'd be at a disadvantage if they tried to fight each other in the light or dark anyway. Even if the aggression was only while they were both migrating, Saradomin creating New Domina would've ended most of the conflict but even after making it they were still fighting.
Well, remember that creatures that are darker in alignment tend to be more vicious by nature, although I'm not sure if a light world like Hallow could actually produce a species with dark world-esque anima. It's possible it was Stu being sorta Saradominist propoganda-ey, I.E. telling us what Saradomin told the icyene. After all, if Saradomin allowed the other race refused him without consequence, he might think it sends a message to the icyene that they're free to reject him as well. He slaughtered the naragi for refusing him, there's that too.Mods pls notice me
