I feel that a Dragonkin has to show up in this quest. I was fine with Kindred Spirits not requiring Dishonour Among Thieves, but DAT has to be required for this quest. Zamorak touched the Stone of Jas, reaffirming himself as a False User. That has got to put him higher up on the Dragonkin's hit list.

In "Dishounor Amongst Thieves" we learn that Khazard's father is "Za..." I think this Quest can expand on that.

In "Kindred Spirits", Sliske is revealed to be working under a master. Could this master be related to Mah?

In "Nomad's Elegy", Sliske took Nomad with him, either dead or alive. It can be presumed that he has been turned into a wight.

Amascut's descent into madness was partially due to witnissing Mah, somehow. I hope the Desert Gods will be involved again, especcially Amascut.

I'm fairly certain that we'll find out who Khazard's father is, but I don't think it will connect to Kindred Spirits or Nomad's Elegy. Those two quests were developed by Raven, while I think it was always understood that Fate of the Gods 2 would be handled by someone else, even if it wasn't the Watch at first. I think what we'll see would more of a sequel to Dishonour Among Thieves, especially thanks to Ollie developing. As such, I don't think we'll learn who Sliske's master is.

I'm not sure if the Desert Gods will be involved. That might strongly depend on how the Desert quests do for 2017. Amascut probably won't be featured in the Sixth Age outside of the Gauntlet of Souls until the Desert series ends. We might see Icthlarin, unless it's decided that Nomad's Elegy was enough for him in the Countdown.

I could potentially see them acknowledging God Wars Dungeon 2 somehow. If Seren is involved, and even if Sliske has a small role, the four factions in that dungeon all share a connection to Mah. There's a good place to tie the narratives together.

Oh, and we might get a new item for Degquest.

A quick question. Who will make Fate of the Gods 2?

The Watch.

But I don't think the factions in GWD2 were chosen because of FotG2. I remember on Twitter that Ollie asked if people would rather see new gods or old ones, and it was a little of both. The only old ones he was interested in was a Zaros vs Zamorka rivalry, but I could see Seren and Sliske being added in because of Mah.

From what I understand, I believe Tales of the God Wars was meant to establish grudges among the generals themselves. Ollie was asked something along the lines of what might happen if Sliske died in the Endgame, and Ollie gave a very vague response so he wouldn't risk spoiling anything. If Zamorak or Sliske die this year (I'm pretty sure that Zaros and Seren are safe considering how we had to bring them back in the first place), Gregorovic and the Furies would not only have their own individual reasons to keep fighting, but also go against each other, since the Furies still want to kill Gregorovic. While Gregorovic doesn't have any particular reason to single the Furies out, I think Helwyr and Vindicta would be content with watching Gregorovic and the Furies try to kill each other.

Guaranteed reqs are the Light Within and Missing, Presumed Death.

Other reqs may be Dishonour amongst thieves, the Temple at Senntisten, Nomads Elegy and/or Kindred Spirits

The Temple at Senntisten and Missing, Presumed Death are both required for The Light Within. I can't see them requiring Nomad's Elegy or Kindred Spirits unless they do something like The Curse of Arrav, which was the third Mysteries of the Mahjarrat quest, but it also required Missing My Mummy and Tale of the Muspah.

Dishonour Among Thieves is all but guaranteed, though. I'm curious if they'll add in Heart of Stone. It'd be funny, though, since DAT and HoS were two of the requirements for Nomad's Elegy, but there were a lot more requirements for Elegy, which I can't see being used for FotG2. Then again, I also really want Ritual of the Mahjarrat required for this quest, mostly because the entire Sixth Age storyline is a continuation of that quest.

I'm not sure Seren if be in the quest. She's going to play a big part in Sliske's Endgame, which will clarify her role in the Sixth Age, so I doubt that she'll die in this quest. At most, what we might see is that while Zaros has his own plans for stopping the Great Revision, this might be an opportunity for Seren to formulate her own plan.

Also I would like us to be able to do something with the Blank Observation, unless Mod Raven will be working on that. If this requires The Temple at Senntisten and Fate of the Gods through The Light Within, as well as Heart of Stone, then we would have every requirement cleared to receive the Blank Observation anyway.

If Zamorak were to die on Freneksae, would it rejuvenate all those present? Mah for instance?

No, I don't think so. He's escaped his races fatal flaw, so he can neither benefit from a Ritual nor can the Mahjarrat benefit specifically killing him for a rejuvenation.

I think the only one who could potentially benefit from Zamorak's death is Mah herself, but that would be more to his divine energy.

I would like there to be some consequence to whether or not we sided with Zamorak in the end of DAT. Sliske has been unscathed even if Zamorak hit him, but what about whether or not we betrayed Zamorak at the last second?

I suppose the Measures 'double-edged' effect could simply be its ordinary function.
Just used in a different manner.

If its usual purpose is to empower wisps to the point they become tangible.
What do you reckon would happen if we used it on Kami, or even a Protoplasmic Wisp?

I suspect the Measure may be useful with the Engrammeter, they are both great at finding ancient memories. Too bad it became distorted, maybe it is repairable in the future.

Maybe the Engrammeter is meant to stay distorted? Though really, there's not much point to it beyond protecting you somewhat as you collect the memoriam crystals.

It's probably just standard ominous teasing that won't actually endanger Zaros, or whatever we do in the Endgame will help or hinder his chances of standing against an Elder God, and that will probably depend on what happens in Children of Mah.
