How many times have u hopped?

I became stronger, and the ancient powers got better, and then I did ROTM. The Zarosian Mahjarrat helped me out, and from then on I thought, "Zaros can't be that bad, I'll follow him." Once I got to Fate of the Gods, Sliske told me that Zaros might not "live up to my expectations", and although Zaros seemed a little different to what I expected, I was very happy with the result. Especially when he said,
Although I'm Zarosian, I still like Saradomin, but more in a 'he's human and I can understand him' kind of way. I tried to destroy the wand out of respect for Sir Owen, but then Saradomin brought him back as half zombie which was quite disappointing. I do have sympathies for Armadyl since he's aligned to justice and seems pretty tough and streetwise. I also like Seren, since she is aligned to harmony and is Zaros' sister. I know they don't exactly get along and she does say some pretty harsh things about him after The Light Within, but I know at the end of the day they love each other.
I hopped just the once from Saradomin to Zaros, and I don't plan on hopping again just yet. But I would still like to learn more about the other gods. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

So I decided to follow Guthix, and just carry out what I thought was best for everyone. Some of his followers idolized him a little too much, though.
Then, when the FunOrb game Armies of Gielinor came out, I hopped. In the game, monster units were grouped by god faction. In the neutral/other group were avaiansie. I thought they looked pretty cool and intelligent, and their flavor text explained their loyalty to Armadyl, whose name sounded really cool. I read up on his backstory on the unofficial wiki, and thought that he had pretty nice intentions. I decided that I'd try to continue what he failed to accomplish.
So when Armadyl returned to Gielinor, and showed that he learnt from his mistakes, I got the impression that he'd make a really good leader now. I listen to what he believes is right, and so far, I mostly agree with him. As World Guardian, it's my responsibility to protect Gielinor, and I do so my carrying out Armadyl's will. Part of that means listening to what other gods have to say, and maybe stopping Armadyl if he ever goes to far; though, I do hope that day never comes. The legendary creators have been long gone from this world. When they return, they'll be surprised and angered of their creations' new sapience. Meanwhile, the world's most elite, summoned to be its guardians, have abandoned their purpose and intend to plunge the world into chaos. -- Bionicle or RS?
2007 was the year I became member for the first time and I began questing a lot. I completed the quest Temple of Ikov and that's when I learned of Armadyl. I'm a person who doesn't like to pick the popular option so I decided to follow Armadyl as he was pretty unknown. When time progressed and we learned more about Armadyl I was happy to know about his morals and intentions as they are close to how I want to see the world.
Armadyl is the god who gives everyone an opportunity, while most of the gods you have to be high ranked to get respected, that's not the case with Armadyl as he sees us as equals. I have always supported Armadyl and continue to do so, sure I know he has flaws but in my opinion his intentions are pure and are worth striving for.
This was a weird decision of mine, but just before Fate of the Gods when all the teasers began to appear I started to like Zaros. My excitement began to grow every day. Also the quest released on my birthday so it made it more special. I think I never really followed Zaros during that time, it was more of a temporary tribute.

If I didn't dislike Sliske so much I'd join his fan club and call myself a Slisketeer. But he called me a cow last time we met, so... his loss.
I also like Armadyl and back him whenever I can, although I was never in his faction. I'm kind of atoning for that time I killed his dudes guarding that staff of his. They still mad at me. ;_;
Of course, back then the lines weren't so blurred as they are now. Saradomin was good, Guthix was balance, and Zamorak evil. I found Zamorak's ideals to be somewhat questionable, and Guthix's balance meant he rarely intervened. Guthix let things happen, regardless of their nature. So to me, the ever-do-gooder quester, Saradomin felt the natural choice. Fighting for justice, for order, to protect those who need it.
Then there were the days when the big six gods were known, and their were reasonable lore backgrounds to be read. From there, I moved from Saradomin closer to Armadyl, though there was a very close relationship in their ideals. I still would have considered myself very sympathetic to Saradomin's cause though.
Then we move forward into the current era. There are more gods than ever, and a huge expansive background on most of them. As a lorehound, I have avidly read all this lore. I feel completely disillusioned with all the factions. Saradomin comes across as arrogant, Armadyl is too idealistic.
These days, I don't mindless follow any of the factions. I weigh the potential outcomes of aligning with a side, and ally with the side that suits my own ideals, or the closest to it. Often my ideals align most with Armadyl still, but I have willingly aided just about every faction going at some point, except Bandos and Tuska. Never been able to find any scenario where even more fighting and death was the preferable outcome.
I'm very much a freelance adventurer these days. I quest in order to help the oppressed and suffering mortals of the world, rather than to advance a god's power and influence. If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.
I AM NOT THE ONLY POLYTHEIST!
I do not ship ZamorakxZaros.
I follow them. And Marimbo, the best t5 god.
