I loved this quest. We got a glimpses of... something major happening, but not enough to piece it all together. Yet. And left us with questions, good questions.

I agree; if nothing else, this quest was top-tier. Hilarious given all the doubting that was taking place prior to release.

As someone who went in with lower expectations, and a criticism of the trailer, I am proud to say how wrong my pre-release thoughts were. Everything about the quest turned out much better than I could have possibly anticipated.

Incidentally, I actually appreciate Sliske's character much more. I feel he comes off as more of a Devil-like character than a Joker-like one now. By which I mean that his entire demeanor seems more akin to delivering promises to those who seek him out, only to twist things for his own purposes (Greg, Linza, etc.). And with his manipulation of the Barrows Brothers and preying on the darker aspects of their pasts, effectively punishing them with his own equally-sadistic measures, that came off as something none too short of Biblical.

Great quest. Perhaps a top 5'er, especially among 6th Age quests.

My biggest issue with it being a Dragonkin is how it asked Sliske if the Stone would bring the Gods together.

I feel like any Dragonkin would be highly aware of the Stone's allure to others, especially Gods. Even if it would be a particularly-inactive Dragonkin, it's felt the effects of others using it throughout history - be it the Gods, the Kethsians, or what have you. With a history of False Users, I doubt a Dragonkin would require any confirmation of the stone's ability to tantalize anyone.

It may be a little unnatural and expositional, but over-expositional dialogue is kind of a major thing of villains.

Villainous monologue in the Endgame, incoming.
