need help posting from my alt my main has been locked i was having trouble with my authenticator app because the clock was out of sync.

i then noticed my registered email was wrong I've provided payment details and past passwords but ive been denied. My account hasn't been stolen i just want to change the email address that doesn't exist anymore.

Jagex needs proof from you that you created your Runescape account before they will make a change as important as changing the registered email.

If you are being denied, keep trying.
Click on the link in the 'deny' email to find out the reasons for the deny as that is the information you need to improve on your next attempt.
Have a read of the Denied password resets support page for tips about the kind of information Jagex want to see on the form.

You cannot do this over the phone, it has to be done by webform.

At no point did i ask to recover my password i know my password. i thought there was an issue with the support system because emails never arrived. there is no way i can remember when i created the account it was over a decade ago.

The account recovery form is also known as the password reset form.

A successful 'recovery' will achieve three things:
* allow you to set a new registered email
* auto-disable Authenticator
* make you set a new password

Have you resolved the Authenticator clock out of sync problem?
If you have and you can log into the game, login and talk to Hans in Lumbridge.
Hans will tell you exactly how old your account is.

i sorted the sync problem and logged back in but that was after i had submitted the recovery request, which i guess kindve made it look like my account was hacked.

i logged out to go cycling and when i came back it said the account was locked for security reasons.

its getting late in the uk so im going to head off until the morning. anyway the last appeal i made was over 30 mins ago so they have either stopped support for the night or they are reviewing it. hopefully it will be sorted when i get up in the morn.
