Why do people sit there flaming the best e-athletes such as DMMT winners, the person who skillfully PKed them inside the wilderness, the first team to beat ToB, the first player to conquer 6 jads, and whatnot? Back in my day, we respected those better than us rather than being jealous and spiteful that we weren't half as athletic, coordinated, and fast as them. Those guys have some legendary speed and timing on their clicks that most of us will never aim to have in our RuneScape careers thereby entitling them to be respected to such a level. Respect is earned, not given. Botting profits are now under control thanks to revs and Raids. :)

Video games are not athletic. Also, no respect given to those who play runescape only and not other games. Of course they are the best because they do not do anything else, or even have a job.

inb4: "But yes they are!" No. You are not an athlete. You're a gamer.

Give us vanilla OSRS servers updated since we get bad updates like Group Altman mode

Moving your blowpipes, Twisted Bows, and other gear is physical exercise that requires a great deal of proficiency. Regardless, that definition is severely outdated. By that logic, we could define a calculator as a person who's capable of completing arithmetic expressions like they did in the 1970's. Botting profits are now under control thanks to revs and Raids. :)

Pro esport gamers req a good hand to eye coordination, excellent reflexes and a comprehensive knowledge of the game. sounds like same req for most if not all non gaming sports.
takes a lot of time and effort, you cant be pro gamer just by playing a few hours a day, most of these guys who practice to be as good as they are have to and i mean HAVE to put in many hours a day.
No different than any other non gaming sport out there.
