I know that not all of us were kids when we first started to play Runescape but for those of us who were, this thread is for you. Does anybody else here have some very fond memories of playing RS when you were just a kid? I started playing RS in 2005 when I was only 10 years old and everything was so simple and corny back then. I actually didn't become a member until the summer of 2006, right around the time when the construction skill came out. Ah, the memories.

P.S. I always miss my first day of playing and trying to figure out how to do Tutorial Island. I also loved exploring the free to play towns for the first time. It was cool exploring places that I had never seen before.

I was 8 years old when I started playing in 2004. My friend (we'll call him Steve) and I went across the street to hang out with another friend (we'll call him Dan). Dan was playing a weird looking game when we got there, which turned out to be Runescape. He explained the game to us and Steve and I were both interested.
After he and I went back home, we both made accounts on Runescape. All I remember is that Steve would keep progressing his account while it literally took me a year to get off Tutorial Island. The rest is history. I've been playing off and on since then.
Frog Homesaid: weston btwsaid: No.You really don't have any fond memories of Runescape when you first joined it?
By the way, I am sorry I have not been on Discord for awhile. I always enjoy chatting with you.
You're fine . Jake, Nik, and them kinda just disappeared anyways. They've been busy with irl. When I first started playing, I didn't like it actually. I was an impatient child that couldn't appreciate the journey of working for something.I would much rather anyone PK in game than do so irl. If you wanna get it out, do it on an online platform please. I don't want anyone getting harmed physically.
I remember getting lost trying to get from Lumbridge to Varrock often. Sometimes I would end up in Falador not knowing how that even happened. From no longer having run energy and having to walk, it really gave me that sense of amazement wondering just how huge the map was and if it would ever end. My tiny self at the time was mind blown!
