~ New Treasure Trail Reward: The Mythropolis ~

This is a new TT reward for Hard, Elite, and Master clue scrolls. There is a chance (1% for Hard, 3% for Elite, 5% for Master) to have a Lucky Leprechaun spawn next to the player when they receive their Reward Casket. It remains for 15 minutes and may only be interacted with by that player. The Leprechaun despawns if the player opens their Reward Casket. The Leprechaun wants the player’s Reward Casket, and if you decide to trade it to him, he will give the player a free teleport to the Mythropolis. Only prepared players should accept this request.

The Mythropolis is a new unique dungeon only accessible by the Lucky Leprechaun. It is done solo.

The dungeon consists of 7 rooms only in a linear fashion, with large locked doors separating the rooms.

When entering, the chatbox says “Hurry! Steal as much as you can before you get caught!” A 20-minute timer begins counting down. If it reaches 0, you are caught and ejected from the dungeon!

Each room consists of two components; first, a puzzle that must be solved (should be relatively easy). Then, when the puzzle is solved, gates open releasing a horde of monsters that you must defeat.

Rooms 3, 6, and 7 also have a Boss Monster that must be defeated that is harder.

After you defeat all of the monsters, a chest appears. Open it to obtain your reward! Each reward is a 1 roll times the room number on a random clue scroll drop table (so could be Beginner through Master drop table). For example, Room 1 is 1 roll on the drop table, Room 2 is 2 rolls on the drop table, and so on.

Want to continue into the next room? Attempt to Open the Locked Door after you open the Chest in the room. When you do, you have a 50% chance of successfully unlocking it and traveling to the next room! You also have a 50% chance of getting caught and ejected from the Mythropolis!

This means you have the following chances of reaching each room, accordingly:
Room 1 - 100%
Room 2 - 50%
Room 3 - 25%
Room 4 - 12.5%
Room 5 - 6.25%
Room 6 - 3.125%
Room 7 - 1.5625%
And don’t forget the 20-minute timer! It’ll definitely come into play in later rooms.

In addition to the clue scroll drop table rolls, Rooms 6 and 7 have chances (1 in 400 for Room 6, 1 in 100 for Room 7) to reward pieces of the Legendary Mythic set (boots, legs/skirt, platebody, helm, gloves, cape - so 7 pieces total, 6 make the set (legs or skirt are a choice)). This is a glowing rainbow armor set that is animated to show iridescent/rainbow patterns on each piece. Wearing the full set also causes a half-rainbow to descend out of the sky on top of your character as they move/stand. It is purely cosmetic, but will be very rare. There is also a very rare chance (1 in 1,000 divided by the highest Room number you reached) to receive a Lucky Leprechaun pet.

Upon exit, a Mythic Casket will be given to a player, containing all of the rewards. It cannot be banked. Since it could (in theory) contain more room than you have in your inventory, each reward must be withdrawn from the Mythic Casket. When all items are taken from the casket, it crumbles to dust.

You could also receive a lore book on the Mythropolis by speaking to the Lucky Leprechaun. Apparently, it is the personal vault of Brugsen Bursen, the owner of the GE. It is used to house all of his biggest valuables, and he has hired mercenaries and monsters-for-hire to guard the treasures, as well as set up puzzles as a security system to protect it further. The Lucky Leprechaun discovered the vault when Brugsen hired him to protect it, but being a greedy leprechaun, he sees an opportunity to make more money selling teleports to players in exchange for their caskets.

Support. Where the fuck do you even get such creative ideas? Lol, just fire Ash and make you a JMod instead. Don't spite vote all PvP updates because of how frightened you are of PKers and then cry about how everything needs to be shoved in as integrity

This seems pretty cool! I'd definitely love to see the team look at how this could be implemented.

Thanks, likewise! I don't really do Twitter or Reddit, so if someone else does, send this to them :P Seems like if it's not on Reddit or Twitter, it doesn't get seen lol

The odds of getting the full Mythic set seem improbable

This is true! But the set is tradeable, so it'd be similar in that case to Third Age.

Running the numbers:

There's a 1/3/5% chance to get the Mythropolis at all, depending on your clue scroll. Let's say 3% is the average percentage, or about a 1 in 33 chance.

There's a 1 in 32 chance of getting Room 6, and a 1 in 64 chance of getting Room 7. There's a 1 in 400 chance in Room 6 to get a piece of Mythic, and a 1 in 100 chance in Room 7. This means in Room 6 you have a 1 in 32 x 1 in 400 = 1 in 12,800 chance, and in Room 7 you have a 1 in 6,400 chance. Combined with the 1 in 33 chance of getting the Mythropolis anyway, this gives a Room 6 overall chance of Mythic at 1 in 422,400 and a Room 7 overall chance of Mythic at 1 in 211,200. This is very comparable in rarity to Third Age equipment.
