Exactly EMP0RERTRUMP, would be nice not see that many dependency's for nxt on debian. specially if mentioned before that curl3 seems way obsolete. Personally i used debian for one day and got shocked by how bloated the system is.
Arch seems more compact minimal and way easier in use, everything is newer the software, it seems. even on stable. And curl is no issue on Arch, nxt runs smoothly, only sometimes i wonder why bloom is blanked out. Maybe i need better gpu?RuneScape and GNU/Linux User since 2004
Nikki_Vistasaid: Hey, Hikari, my husband's account Poncho_Vista got BANNED after following your instructions. He was just trying to help me play on chromebook and for some reason it flagged as an unappeal-able offence. I am scared to play on my Chromebook now. Any advice or help would be appreciated hi nikki, your husband must have gotten banned for something he has done in game. My client is more like a launcher as it downloads the client jar file from jagex and fixes library (opengl) issues with java and launches the official client jar with optimized parameters.
the client itself is registered on jagex end as their official client, as that is essentially what it is.God/Protector of the Penguins.

Pk_H8terz I think your problem with the gpu (if ur on nvidia) could be the optimus technology. It'll use your internal graphics instead of dedicated gpu if its not needed, this happens alot with games that have low graphics demand, that was a problem I was having with my old laptop, seeing as bloom doesn't show up on graphics options with just internal graphics on. Plus I've noticed on linux OS's that it automatically sets it to internal graphics sometimes, half the time I can't seem to get the gpu drivers automatically downloaded with installation, and have to do afterwards.

Hey Gibbo, I can see from your other posts that you're having difficulties with the stack based buffer error. Have you tried updating your graphics drivers, temporarily disabling any antivirus, and reinstalling the game

Thanks for the feedback An, it's working great for me on 19.04 / NVidia 418 right now, similarly so on Solus 4. Unfortunately the NVidia card is the only one I have, so if it has any issues with your AMD I'd love to know.
@Hmm ive still tried everything on my laptop to run this game and its still not working, drivers up to date, no problems in troubleshoot, re installed runescape launcher, permissions all good, and still nothing. is their anythign happening about this isuue?Gibbo
