Hey all,

While playing the mobile test, you may experience some content related issues. To ensure we get concise information, please read below before posting.

For the sanity of our QA team, can you ensure your cache has fully downloaded before reporting certain issues. You can check the size of your cache by swiping 4 finger down to bring up the console and typing "displayfps" into the console. If your disk cache is below 3GB then please hold off on reporting texture swapping and location loading issues.

What is a mobile content related issue?

A mobile content related issue is an issue which is present on the mobile client but is absent on the desktop version of the RuneScape client.

What will be the most common issue?

The most common issue you will encounter will be user interfaces incompatibility. As RuneScape was originally designed to be played with a keyboard and mouse, a few challenges might arise using a touch screen interface.

What should we look out for?

Anything and everything!
If something doesn't look right, let us know.
If you get performance drops in certain areas, let us know.
If you are unable to progress through a quest, let us know.
If you have graphical issues, let us know.

What should I not report?

If you find an exploitable bug please do not report it on this thread, use the in game reporting system or contact a member of Jagex directly via twitter.

Why is my cache not downloading?

While playing, your cache will only download what is required to play. Your cache will begin downloading on WiFi AND Cellular data while in the lobby or the login screen. So until you have downloaded the entire cache, I would recommend downloading all 3GB over WiFi.

when i log out i have to restart the app ( i have a samsung s8 ) because when i log out all the log in info disappears and shows only part of the login window

the other problem ive noticed it is very difficult to find your friends list when not in the lobby ive only been able to find where the chats are but i cant find where my friends list is or clan chat or friends chat.

other then these issues it looks great

What is the issue?: Can't toggle of cita menu after rendering it. The menu opens when pressing the minigame menuButton, clicking the menuButton again doesn't hide the menu. Clicking another menubutton does remove the menu

What is the issue?: Typing a private message reverts to public chat upon friendslist updating (friends logging in/out). Must click person's name you are sending to after you finish, and hope nobody logs in/out.

What is the issue?:

There are two of them, the first is a bug, for which I already submitted an in-game report; the second is a major UI annoyance:
1. Opening and then closing the keyring interface on the toolbelt causes a permanent black screen that won't go away until you restart the app. If you open the toolbelt, click settings, click Key Ring, and then click the 'X', your client ends up stuck on a black screen.
2. The bug report interface on mobile sucks. I cannot click earlier in the text box to move my mouse cursor there (on the main body; apparently that does work for the reproduction steps). I cannot see what I'm writing for reproduction steps unless I hit "Done" since they're hidden by my keyboard. For both the reproduction steps and main body, I cannot hit enter, as it is replaced by "Done". Also, the back arrow, instead of just hiding my keyboard the first time it's clicked, exits the bug report interface. Clicking inside the text box (for the main body, I don't know about for the reproduction steps, as the keyboard completely covers those) or clicking "Done" will hide the keyboard, but that's inconsistent compared to what I'm used to from most apps always making the back arrow hide the keyboard. The text apparently stays if I click report again though, so at least that's something.

Where is the issue?: The first: in the toolbelt interface, specifically relating to the keyring. The second: The interface for reporting a bug.

Does restarting the client fix the issue?: The first: Yes, but it will come back if you follow the reproduction steps. The second: No, since it's a UI annoyance.
