Hi,

I want to secure my account more by setting Recovery Questions (with random answers generated by a Password Manager) but I'm not able to find where I can set this.

Is there someone who can help me or who can give me advise on how to secure my account?

JAG was discontinued, so you can't do that any more.

Instead there is Authenticator.

You should set two step verification on your email, and set up Authenticator and a bank pin.

Either do ya best to make ya account secured. Long and difficult password. Google generated password. Two way email good alerts and so on. Or be like any noob or complainer that comes here and begs jagex for there stuff and account back

I don't claim to be an expert in security, but when it comes to passwords, I tend to figure that length of non-repeating characters is pretty much all it takes. If you have a password that is 25 characters long, like a small sentence basically, it would be borderline impossible for a computer program to brute force solve it.

Some examples:

whydoihavetomakesuchalongpassword

iamsoboredwhydoikeepplayingthisgame

thisismymainaccountpleasedonthackme

Replacing some of the letters with numbers also helps make it hard to guess.

Also don't use third party clients which can see what you type to log in, and don't follow links under videos that could lead to fake forums and try to steal your account info. If a forum asks for your Authenticator code then you know its fake since the real forum never does.

Also stay away from those youtube channels they advertise on the GE or anywhere there tons of people. Claiming there quiting runescape or giving away gold if you sign in the rs page. One way to test is fake is enter fake info. If you goto that fake website they have ya clicked and put fake info like a random fake name or email and password then it will ask for ya ya bank pin. Thats how ya know its faked.
