The Daemonheim aura, specifically the Daemonheim aura 3, used to give a new animation to backhand when worn. I've noticed lately, that my Daemonheim aura 4, which should still give the animation, only works when in Daemonheim itself. Is there anyway to keep the animation on the overworld like before the update? HRAH!

So far as I see, the only way to activate the override now outside of Dungeoneering is to activate the aura itself.

To be honest, I'm surprised they bound it to the aura to begin with. It makes a lot more sense as an override, and would allow people to use it outside of Daemonheim if they so wish (and, I mean, it's a headbutt, it's not a technique that we'd forget how to do outside Daemonheim).

I imagine the reason is because no other combat ability has an override on the tab, but, I mean, if that is the reason, it's surprising that Jagex hasn't added other combat move overrides anyway.

I am not fully sure if we already had animation overrides (with an interface) at the time the aura was released - it's still a fairly old item after all, which was significantly revamped this week. But well all in all now since almost everything else was split from it as an item this should be done as well - and if it just works by talking to thok or so.

I have same problem. I have usually been wearing my Daemonheim aura 4 in unactive state, couse of the passiv effects. Now it has to be activated, which is silly, really. No point in that when not in Daemonheim. Not sure if this was intented....
