So I'm slicin' n' dicin' some Ivy in Varrock last night at 11pm.

I go to bed, I go to work, I come home and log in.

As soon as my character is stood outside the G.E I thought something was off. I didn't leave my dude there, 100% at the Ivy. Check sale history in the G.E and everything has been sold and not a single gp in my bank.

All those years of playing and I think I'm gonna quit.

I know Jagex can't help but this is mainly for me to vent, utter frustration.

So, basically, am I f****d? Best start making money out of nothing.

Did you have a bank pin on your account? An authenticator? Is your email secure? The most common way that I know of for an RS account to be completely compromised is for the email to be compromised Ooh, a light at the end of the tunnel...
...Do you think I should get off the tracks?

Kicking myself for not setting that up earlier. I've been on and off RS recently, just never got back into the swing of it from my teens.

Luckily a friend is helping me out and I ensure you, every single step of security is getting turned up to 11.

It's making me anxious about everything else I have and if whoever it is, can get into that.

All happened in that short window of sleep and work.

Hi there
n0lifenub

You said Jagex keep giving your account to someone else.
* Either your email is insecure
* Or the account information has become compromised and this other person is now able to supply enough information to prove they created the account.

Change the password to your email then put through a change of registered email to a completely different, brand new email.
Securing your account

This should stop the hijacks.
Post back in a week if the hijacks have not stopped.

Do you have access to the account?
If you do, follow the instructions I posted above.

If you don't, follow the instructions on the Hijacked account support page.

DO NOT RESPOND to this persons Facebook messages to you.
You can report the blackmailing Facebook messages to Facebook and they will take action against this persons Fb account.
You can also block them from contacting you on Fb.
