So I'm slicin' n' dicin' some Ivy in Varrock last night at 11pm.
I go to bed, I go to work, I come home and log in.
As soon as my character is stood outside the G.E I thought something was off. I didn't leave my dude there, 100% at the Ivy. Check sale history in the G.E and everything has been sold and not a single gp in my bank.
All those years of playing and I think I'm gonna quit.
I know Jagex can't help but this is mainly for me to vent, utter frustration.
So, basically, am I f****d? Best start making money out of nothing.
Did you have a bank pin on your account? An authenticator? Is your email secure? The most common way that I know of for an RS account to be completely compromised is for the email to be compromisedOoh, a light at the end of the tunnel...
...Do you think I should get off the tracks?
tuffty can you please help me. my account keeps getting stolen over and over. i dont understand why jagex keeps giving this guy my account. i have all the info for my account and all the answers. i have the login email. i changed everything and set up every security step. please help mecdilley740
You said Jagex keep giving your account to someone else. * Either your email is insecure * Or the account information has become compromised and this other person is now able to supply enough information to prove they created the account.
Change the password to your email then put through a change of registered email to a completely different, brand new email. Securing your account
This should stop the hijacks. Post back in a week if the hijacks have not stopped.
i looked at my emails and seen where it said the emails from jagex for password reset, change email, authenticator from where he was trying to get it. now theres another email tied to my account thats not mine. this guy is sending me messages on facebook saying anytime you wanna play on your account you got to go through me.cdilley740
i cant change the email cause it trys to send the request to a email that isnt mine. for some insane reason it denied my recovery and i hit the link to reset the password he sent to my email trynna steal it. i got all the info to prove this is my account. he changed my name and my name was my government name and area code, i can send a mod a my i.d to prove the email and name used to make the account is my namecdilley740
