Good day Runescape forums!

I'm just simply wondering what the rules are surrounding Chrome Remote - I noticed there's a lot of confusion and frustration while searching for the answer. Hopefully we can have someone clear this up, personally I would like to use it - however, hesitant as I'm protective of my account.

Good point. Unless I'm missing something here, you're wanting to play through a remote desktop client? If so, there's really no "rules" against that but it could open up some security and performance concerns if you don't know what you're doing.

What specifically are you needing to do and why are you thinking it might be against the rules? Maybe if we had more information about what you're trying to do, we could offer some better advice.

- Simply looking to be able to play with my IPad or IPhone - Say I'm cooking a nice meal and don't want to keep running to the office to click to siphon in runespan for example.

It would simply be nice to know for sure, considering it's not macroing. I would still 100% be controlling the game.

So, you're going to be doing it on two devices on the same LAN. Theoretically, the most likely issues you're going to face will be performance related due to wireless latency and the fact that the connection will be tunneled through another machine.

Obviously you're playing RuneScape 3, else you'd just use the mobile client itself. Given that, a remote desktop client used such as in your example doesn't violate any rules or terms provided you're staying in complete control of the game (as you indicated you were).

As soon as the RS3 mobile release hits though, I'd recommend ditching the remote desktop method to play on your mobile devices.

Well yes! I would much rather use an actual RS3 mobile application - however being on ISO I'll be waiting a unknown amount of time - so It's nice to have the Chrome Remote to simply see my screen and control my mouse!

Thank you for your input -
