RS3 mobile update. Stats??

Are my stats going to be transferred over from classic to RS3 when they make it available for mobile? I really don't wanna keep playing if it's all going to be for nothing when RS3 goes mobile. Plus I've already invested a decent amount of time in the character I have now and restarting is not something I look forward to. I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks much.

So in other words it's pointless for me to keep playing RS on my phone if I want to play RS3 because none of my progress will follow me to RS3?
