Around Gielinor, posters were getting pinned up on the walls of bars. The Rising Sun, the Pick and Lute, the Poison Arrow, and the Dragon Inn. Whoever wrote this wasn't too good at formal advertisements.

Sword for Hire

I'm a bored P.O.S. fresh out the cut from a bloody wasteland, and I want to fight things. Anything. People, monsters, your malfunctioning boiler. No, really, I'll beat it up. You'll probably have to buy a new one anyways. No limits. My name's Jake, and I'll be travelling between the places these are tacked up and hanging around for a while.

((Current location: Falador, Rising Sun. Next up: Seer's Village, Pick and Lute.))

A large, muscled fellow, mostly shirtless excluding the brassard that encompassed his left arm, listened carefully as the town crier he bullied into reading the fliers to him read Jake's. A grin cracked across the warrior's slightly gaunt face.

''Sounds like me. Fighting for money kinda kills the spirit of it though...'' mused the warrior, as he stretched his arms.

''A-anything else, sir?'' the town crier asked, reasonably nervous - it wasn't everyday a shirtless man with a sword came running around and demanded you read the news to him.

''Nope!'' the warrior bellowed jubilantly, swinging his sword from resting over his right shoulder towards the Falador gates, like the point of a compass. The warrior took off in a full sprint, glee emanating from his lungs in laughter as he went to where he thought Jake would be.

The town crier certainly didn't intend on giving him directions.
