For two and a half decades, the valorous Void Knight Order has been locked in ceaseless conflict with a barely containable tide of abominable monsters. Where none was given from the forces of the mainland realm, The Knights turned coin unto the hand of mercenaries for support in their contention with the slaughterous Pest horde.
Now in a subsequent lull of requiescence the gaze of parity has been turned to the mainlands of Gielinor, and what it see's is disturbing. With the influence of Guthix upturned upon his death, the world is sullied by the footprints of corrupt men and miserly gods - the balance is shattered, and the Void Knights will respond.

Under the prestige of Noble Commander Samuel Breitling a small company of Squires, Auxilliary and experienced knights has been constructed for legation across the world off the shores of the Outpost, just as it was in history. They will travel the many Kingdoms and attempt to restore the balance among the grandest nobility and the humblest of peasants.

By any means, the scales will be tuned. Equilibrium will be restored in the great god's stead by his arbiters. They are beyond good and evil - they are balance.

The VKMR is a guild based ran by myself, an 8 year veteran of w42. It is administrated by Shrapnel and The Decker, both of whom can be contacted with inquiries and issues.

Contrary to the current climate of RP on this server we wish to provide frequent and varied role-play every day. We do not aim to be a massive guild - only an active one with quality members. We do not seek to sustain a hold on land. The characters within this Void Knight Company are not scripted NPC's with a two dimensional personality - they are humans with each their own perspective and approach to the idea of instilling balance. We aim to promote activity across the board as the Void Knights sniff out scale tipping undesirables - they may arrive in taverns or the throne rooms of a palace - simple shops or the doors of reputable organisations. Those found 'guilty' of disrupting the balance may be stricken into custody without regard for their station in life. The Void Knights heed no authority but their own and their charge to restore the ideals of parity across the land.

Commendation System

Commendations are the currency used by the void knights to offer balance within the ranks. The commendation system is put in place as a commission currency, meaning they can't be exchanged for any mainland currency, and are earned as regular payments or bonus rewards.

Rank often changes how many are earned. The regular payments are as follows;

Commendations can be spent on a range of items from extra rations and drinks, to better gear and custom requisitions. The Quartermaster (with help from their squire) runs the shop on the outpost, which stocks the following.

Does this follow the public sphere of VK rp continuity? By that, I mean the last VK clan was headed by Conor and from what I recall, the stories were about how the VKs were being massacred. All these sins disguised as blessings

I believe in his post he mentioned that the VKs were connecting themselves with mercenaries to fill in their lost men. Conor's group and their history probably got left behind when their guild ended, as it would be expected. No one wants to pick up an old and boring storyline.

In canon the VKO has been accepting mercenaries to fight for them for many years, likely in fact since the beginning of the Pest campaign 23 years ago after their revival from extinction by Drac Melrose. I am not aware of the ins and outs of Conor's RP but you can extrapolate that the existing set up of constant VK recruitment and mercenary contracting has put a band-aid on the boo-boo that Conor's plot made.

Basically:

- Pest attacks spiked at some stage
- The Void Knights became badly outnumbered
- The Void Knight Outpost was assaulted by a Pest swarm
- Most of the Void Knights were decimated but a few fled
- Other RPs and Plots ensued
