A cool breeze washed over the great Kinshra Fortress at the edge of the barren Wilderness, far north of the bustling city of Falador. The air seemed heavier here, ominous even, above the roof of the dark structure. The sun sailed slowly down until it squirmed down under the horizon, casting murky shadows across the various protruding bricks and battlements.

Dusk.

The Fortress was quiet as a mighty storm began to roll in, clouds seeming to come from all directions and culminating directly over the Dark Castle's head. Lightning sprang forth, deafening cracks of thunder echoing out in it's wake. As the storm got worse, a bolt struck down from the center of the storm, striking the center of the roof of the Black Knights' Fortress.

A second strike soon followed, and then many more, until the lightning seemed to be coming down in a solid stream. The roof threatened to buckle under the sheer power of the strikes, sending out massive chunks of rock and brick all around. And then it all suddenly stopped, leaving only a thick haze of smoke in it's wake. Before long a pair of black feathery wings shot out from the smoke, the powerful appendages spanning out before batting the smoke away in an instant.

There stood what appeared to be Noel Cuis, the White Knight who had recently attacked the White Knights' Castle and Chancellor Willow Konoe. Her appearance was much darker now, once brilliant white feathers turned black, her vibrant red hair now turned dark to match. The wardrobe was equally dreary, yet strangely revealing. A dark crown sat atop her mop, her eyes now a bright yellow color.

The girl was now under the control of a demon by the name of Tanelyx. Stepping forward, she was met by the commander; Lucai von Belmont. After a brief discussion the pair decended to Belmont's office where, after further scheming, Tanelyx vanished from the man's room without a trace. What could the demon want with the Kinshra, and what will it mean for Asgarnia?

(Coincidentally, the person subtly shaming me over this here roleplays the head of a family that's used a dragon for almost a decade, and only stopped when the person who roleplayed that dragon left the game.

The dragon is still there, just "retired" as a character of mine. I just don't roleplay him anymore because of the finicky lore used since around 2011 to describe his history, given how I was playing him before new lore regarding dragons was released. Not to mention, his personality does not align with how dragons should act in-game when not under the influence of an Ilujanka.

-The group currently controlling Kandarin, the Vekons, my first and most memorable experience with them was when I first joined w42, when they invaded Falador, sat their own dragon on top of the castle, and then used it to torch half the city and suppress any rebellions.

That's not true. The dragon was used to siege the castle (which was entirely accepted by the PoK owner) and, following the siege, the dragon promptly left to go about his business. "Half the city and suppress any rebellions" is very exaggerated. Do keep in mind, you often-times roleplayed with this very dragon alongside Molly.

Might I also add, if your dragon is in fact perched atop your keep to sit and look cool, the dragon isn't performing as they naturally should by lore. As we all know, dragons have an innate bestial rage. Intrinsically, they are psychotic and sociopathic with dark, morbid personalities -- the only one immune to that is Mr. Mordaut, and that is due to his mixed parents; he is a hybrid, although retains more physical traits of a red dragon.

Any dragon in roleplay should be so anarchic that even when working with humans, they should put themselves first and foremost with extreme malice, malignancy, and rancor. It makes no sense for them to perch in Falador.

That's my opinion.

So... Is the dragon not also undead? I question why a place thought to be the seat of Saradomin's influence would allow ANY sort of undead creature, let alone a large, undead dragon, to perch atop his castle. It just looks bad, and it would be more than unsettling for the entire city.

Is this real? Asgarnia recently fought off a dragon invasion that nearly led to its destruction in its entirety. An entire generation was taught to hate dragons. I find it hard to believe anyone would accept a dragon just chilling and sipping on gin and juice in the castle while they're out mourning Volon's victims.

I won't tell you how to run your plot but goddamn that's harsh.

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you from the dragon mommy"

"Oh look there's another one on the castle"

"ya that's chill"

???????

And, in this, the PoK owner is accepting the dragon (it's me!) And, I wasn't talking poorly about your dragon. I was talking about the hypocrisy in the Vekon leader complaining about the dragon while leading a family that very famously used the dragon offensively against another kingdom.

Already covered that, but thank you. Also, the newest expansions on Ilujankan lore show that the rage is just a curse from the Stone of Jas, that the dragons , and is something that the Dragonkin haven't been able to break without either tying the Dragons to another "master", or entirely neutering their combat abilities in general (Mr Mordaut).

This topic has been covered, and covered to death, here and in-game and on other threads. The opinions have been made known, and you can silently pick one, instead of continuing it every few weeks here. The responses won't change.

I know you're not talking poorly, I'm just saying; and sure, he can complain -- we don't use it anymore. Sure, we did, but we don't now and if we did, it'd be done right. ;)

Yeah it's been covered, but I'm telling you why the suggested solution to it all you've come up with makes no sense. Tying a dragon to another "master" is goofy to just do by yourself and think it's been done right. You'd suspect a Dragonkin would need to be involved for this to work, no? Given the mention of the "long" plotline, I wager a Dragonkin was some way involved.

A bit rofly if you ask me, but that's just me jumping to conclusions (and having not read that big three-post summary of it all you wrote). Regardless, no dragon in roleplay should have their rage absent. Otherwise, it's very lore bent and, frankly, should remain in private roleplay.

It's laughable to sit here and watch someone whose entire reputation is centered around lorebreak bitch about lorebreak. Like a true no-life SJW, shit is only wrong when it's anyone but you doing it.

It's also kinda weird seeing you complain about people cluttering your threads with arguments and here you are cluttering other peoples' threads with arguments, but whatever... I'd tell you to move past your dumbassery before calling others out on theirs, but we all know at this point that you simply can't because the self-proclaimed figurehead of the server doesn't make mistakes, right?

Can you just like fade away from the community already? I don't know how much more obvious anyone can make it that we're all over you and don't want you anymore. I'd agree with anything stated here about Vekon if it was literally anyone but you stating it.

The event you speak of occured before I was a member of House Vekon. Hell, before I was a member of Kandarin. Pretty sure I haven't used a dragon offensively since I started leading the family, so I'm not sure how that's hypocritical.

I don't think that dragon was an undead creature being controlled via powerful "soul magic", that proceeded to occupy an area in which a god more or less actively exists. Of course, following Asgarnia being almost destroyed by the last dragon they witnessed. Could be wrong though, I wasn't there.
