Hello. I would like to express my frustration regarding an obnoxious problem with the teamwork section.
The problem being the toxic train of "leech" service threads.

These threads do not organize teams. They organize trust trade deals in-game. They are not interested in recruiting new PVM'ers, and grouping up with them. They are only interested in milking out cash off the community.

Why are these threads allowed in that section? They should be in the "Businesses & Services" section instead. They do not belong to Teamwork. They are only cluttering the list of genuine teamwork threads, and are making them harder to see for potential team players whom are looking for a group to boss with.

I hope Jagex take a stance, and do a slight change in the forum Code of Conduct to prevent their creation in the Teamwork Section, because they really are making things difficult for honest team players. Thank you.

Original message details are unavailable.
They belong in Team Work as they need a team to complete it.

It's been well discussed by Jagex and they are for the Teamwork section. ;)

I agree with what you're saying in that they should be in business and services and said so in the thread that quote is from (the same topic as this).

You can read a couple more of tufftys responses to the reason for them going in teamwork as well.

The threads could go in either section really, I think B&S could do with the activity boost though. Teamwork already receives all of the PvM activity, while B&S is very quiet these days. It might be worthwhile for Jagex to talk to some of the B&S forum users about this.

They may or may not appreciate the extra activity. :P

More activity in Businesses and Services is just a bonus. It can never and should never be the main reason why the leech threads should be out of Teamwork section. The reason is as stated: They are about selling one-off services in-game. They are not interested in making their customers their team mates, nor do they even require them to work with the rest of the team as team players. It is pay and leech, nothing else.

If this is what teamwork is about in the stance Tuffty seems so adamant about, then there is nothing else I have to discuss in this topic. My frustration remains, as well as every other genuine team leader whom is not driven by greed, but rather opens the door for other players to learn and engage in new team content, without any costs.

I concur. Not a whole lot we can do though if Jagex has that stance. Maybe we can compromise and create a new section for those type of threads, call it "Lazy Players Anonymous" or something. :P

Hello.

When some of these were on the Dungeoneering section no-one was complaining about the teamwork section. The forums had a major make over and we lost a heap of sections. Teamwork is now the home for these leech threads. That was the Dungeoneerign leech threads.

The other leech threads for other monsters were all ways in teamwork and did well.

Now the Dungeoneering threads have moved in a lot more are standing out and being seen and seen as a pest sort of thing.

Right now they are in teamwork. ;)

Edit to Add.

If all the leech threads were moved to Business section then you can forget all the legit businesses there all ready. They will be flooded out within a few days. Then you might as well call the Business section the New Dungeoneering section or Leech all you want section.

@Tufftypower

Just wondering, why you seem content with how the situation currently is? These threads are not in the spirit of the game to begin with, and what's worse, they are in the wrong section, and are making it difficult for genuine team-work threads owners to make their threads seen. I would have expected you to at least want to make life easier for players whom not driven by greed, and are trying to help out other players (and yes, as well as themselves). It might be Jagex stance as you said in the other thread, but what is puzzling me is how you seem very supportive of it. It is proven to be a bad policy. Why defend it so adamantly?
