Hello everyone, in this thread, I will present all the changes that will take place in our team this month. These changes will further help us adapt with the recent nerfs to Dreadnips, and Barricade Healing, which have made Raids harder. Some of the changes are things have already taken place, but have not yet been fully and officially clarified, so I will do that here. Additionally, I will explain a few extra points of some of our existing policies, at the end of the thread, so it clears out any concerns some of us might have.

Please take your time to read all the posted information.

Note:
It will be required from all the team members who have been in the team before 13th of June 2016 to read the changes, and post in this thread to confirm having done so.

1. Reworking the Perks Requirement:

With today's game update, the restrictions have been lifted on the gear one can use with Invention augmentation, so I find no reason for us to remain restricted to the old perks combination, which heavily catered to the old restrictions. So from now on, the required perks combination will be the following:

Precise 5 + Crackling 3 + Impatient 3 + Devoted 3 + Either:

(in addition to the above 4 perks) Aftershock 3 & Biting 2-3. Or: Equilibrium 2-3 & Absorbative 3

Note: If you have Impatient 3 + Devoted 2-3 in one gizmo, you will be allowed to use these in place of Devoted 3 in a singular gizmo, under the condition you fill the last gizmo with the best defensive or offensive perk you do not have on your armor.

Everyone is required to have these perks at, or before the 20th of June.

Update: After Max having checked the perks we received from the team mates, it appears as the vast majority of the team do not have the exact combination we require, so
Everyone will be required to re-send their perks combination again, once they acquired the new combination.

2. Phasing:

From now on, we will be attacking the Yakamaru central pool, until it switch to another pool, while leaving the jellies to be killed after the pool have switched (exception is not phasing before sand pool & mirage phase start). How do we know when sand pool will start? Yakamaru pools selection will begin with a random pool, but will then continue from there in a clockwise pattern, so, for example, if it started with the no-stun pool, the next pool will be Tentacle, then Sharkando, then Sand. This will also mean we will phase sand pool if it was the *first* pool Yakamaru selected, because we would not then know about it, but that is not a problem, as at the very first pool switch, there is not many jellies to worry about.

3. Dreadnips usage:

After having tested dreadnips a week ago, thanks for everyone's cooperation with that, we found out they are still useful, and this time not for stuns, but for dealing damage to the bosses. So we will continue strictly requiring dreadnips to be taken and used at Raids.

4. New items/supplies required:

From now on, a few items will be strictly required to use for both the Raids bosses. These are:

A: Ring of Vigour switch for ultimate abilities

B: 1 Adrenaline or Replenishment flask (to be taken for every Yakamaru and Beastmaster kill, and used after ultimate abilities)

C: 1 Portent or Sign of life (to be used for every Yakamaru Kill)

Everyone is required to have and use these items at, or before the 20th of June.

5. Changes to base tanking:

From now on, it will be "preferred" (not strictly required) for the base tank to use Magic, and to use debuffs, too (vulnerability & Enfeeble sp. It will also be allowed for the base tank to use Wand of the Elders, if they do not own Siesmic wand, because Wand of the Elders share the same accuracy to that of Tier 90 weapons, which is what is needed for best debuffs applying chance.

6. Deathtouch bracelet allowed as another alternative (but not a replacement) to the dominion tower gloves:

After having researched the functionality of that item, I realized it is just as good as the dominion tower gloves, so we will be allowing them for those who would like to use them instead of dominion tower gloves. Note that you are completely welcome to continue using Dominion Tower Gloves, the Deathtouch Bracelet will not replace that, it will only offer a 2nd option.

7: New roles to be assigned:

A: Guthix Staff debuffer (credit goes to Wise Thoth for suggesting/using it and explaining to me how it works).

This will include wielding the Guthix Staff from the Mage Training Area, and applying 2 special weapon attacks every 1 minute, then switching back to the main weapon used.

B: Jelly wrangler:

This role will be for a DPS to get all jellies to attack him/her during mirage phase, while praying melee, and staying away from other team members, but while still DPS'ing the mirages.

8: Removal of double North Tank role, and replacing it with "Solo North tank" role.

The description of this change is self-explainary. We will be using 1 North Tank from now on, instead of 2. Credit goes for Noob King (one of our new team mates) for mentioning that role, and to Maxi for kindly and bravely trying it out. Additionally, Max will be doing this role for a bit more to understand it fully, then he will move on to teach it to other team members.

9: Sergeant Ranks will now require mastery of "Solo North Tanking" role.

So any sergeant ranks will be lowered for now, and raised again when it's holders are able to perform that role decently. Please note that this is to make the ranks more worthy to acquire, and it is not a dismissal of anyone's effort.

Addressing a few points of concern to our team members:

1. The occurrences when some of the team mates have to be let go

As many of you have noticed, a fair number of team members are no longer with us, sometimes, this is obvious when they leave the team. Other times, you will have to look closely to figure that out. The reasons behind someone having to leave the team varies greatly, but what I would like to assure everyone of, it is always for a fair reason (when it comes to being *asked* to leave). In the past few weeks, the reasons that comes to mind on why I had to let some of the team members go are:

A. Engaging in dishonesty, in a way that affect the team negatively.

B. Blatantly refusing to follow the leader (reasonable) instructions

C: Historically and consistently having issues with team changes, which developed into incompatibility with being in the team

D: Refusal to upkeep the new(er) team changes.

This is not an exhaustive list, but it should give you a very good idea on why I would ask someone to leave. It is never going to be because of few times of poor performance, or anything that is similar. For someone to have to leave over poor performance, it would be after we give them all the information and training they need to perform better, and they still performed poorly after many chances, then their stay in the team will be questioned, but otherwise, they will be completely fine.

Edit: To clear further doubts, things such as dying to a jelly in Yakamaru is below poor performance, so doing it is just as bad as AFK'ing mid-kill to me. It is treated differently.

I hope that calms any worries some of you might have.

You can post on this thread for now if you read these changes.

The 2nd point will be written later on tomorrow, and it will be regarding having to "sitout" and recruitment. I simply ran out of time for now, so I will continue it as soon as I can, tomorrow.

Edit: I have changed my mind, I will write about recruitment in another occasion. It is unlikely I will get the point across if I write about it now after many of us have read and posted here, and will unlikely come back to this thread.
