First of all, Kalphite King was a boss designed for a game with a completely different combat system. This is the first red flag. There will be issues when trying to make said mechanics work here. Due to the fact that Jagex only had a copy of the way the game was in '07, they would literally have to program the boss from scratch.

That causes further issues. They will not be able to duplicate the boss 100%, which means there will be people who have done it in RS3 that will complain it is different. There is also the problem of rewards. Chaotics from dungeoneering were level 80, and they broke the combat system to a point where EoC was 'necessary.' Do you honestly think that implementing level 90 gear will be 'balanced' as you worded it in the opening post.

I'm not even going to bother going on, as there is no need to explain why this cannot, and will not happen. It is painfully obvious that this is so.

You know, as well as I do, with higher requirements comes better stats. A 20 level requirement (whip to drygore) would be the same as rune to dragon in difference of power. It would be immense.

I'm done with this thread and its posters, enjoy the back and forth that has been adding nothing to the discussion for the past pages (there's not much to discuss).

What is the issue with gear requiring higher stats? Would the blowpipe become better if it required 90 range?

It seems like you still fail to grasp what anyone is saying.

The KK was designed with EOC in mind so in order for it to exist in osrs they'd need to implement EOC here as well.

So gl with that happening.
