Nex is Life
: By group boss, I mean something that's not inherently solo. Maybe it can scale HP and Drops like elite dungeons, but I digress :P

If you played RS a couple years back, the corporeal beast was a good example of this. You could bring some friends, fight it and chat at the same time, nothing super intense :)

Lord Drakan
: I agree.
I miss the days when the gods were mysterious entities that may or may not have even existed! Now that they're out and about, other stories feel a bit diminished. :P

More bosses, no quests related to other stories than the current, no new minigames or D&Ds, more 'player-owned' stuff, updates to things that are already good, no updates to things that need them, green light to invalidate existing content's rewards (until it's updated i.e. forever)... I might as well quit now.

I believe what they said is they will focus on iconic characters in quests but it doesn't automatically mean nobodies like Evil Dave, Gothphrie or the monkeys can't exist in these newly focused iconic quests. For instance, Evil Dave may not have another "Big Day Out" but he can still be an unimportant jester in a quest with Zamorak in it. :D

The other thing is it is actually a good thing to throw out hopeless dead content. Only the worthy content should be remastered. :)

That's still bad news. There should be quests in any possible storyline, not just gods and Dragonkin spam that's 'hot' right now. I'm absolutely sick of it. :(

And what content is worthy is subjective. Any piece of content can be updated to be super popular, regardless of how long ago it was released or how many flaws it has right now.

Not just Gods and Dragonkin are iconic. We, the World Guardians, are always iconic too. We, the World Guardians, always exist in every quest. :D

Besides, the Ambassador was featured in last year's Runefest. He is not exactly a dragonkin, only somewhat a dragonkin.

Unfortunately there is too little time to make every nobody an iconic character in an iconic quest. Somebody like Evil Dave, who is actually a nobody should remain so, will remain a nobody going forward in the never ending quests of Gielinor.

Well that's about the dumbest post I've ever read.
If you didn't enjoy the Evil Dave quests, there's something wrong with you.
I'm here for fun, can't see any other reason to be here.

That's the dumbest post I've ever read.

The Episodic Team said they will focus on quests with iconic characters. They did not say Evil Dave quest and such are not fun. They just have a lower priority.

I played Spiderweb Slashing too but I certainly think there are higher priorities than Spiderweb Slashing regardless it is fun or not.
