Hey all,

While playing the RuneScape mobile test, you may experience instabilities and crashes. To help us accurately reproduce and promptly fix these issues please report using the template below as a guide.

What is a crash?

A crash is when a program or application suddenly stops working and exits.

What is a freeze?

A freeze is when a program or application suddenly stops working as their processes can no longer run.

At the time of the crash I was: Trying to start the app - instantly crashes, tried restarting phone, trying to use both wifi and cellular separately on multiple tries. Crashes very soon after starting the app - about 5sec of loading.
Can it be reproduced?: Yes

At the time of the crash I was: Not a crash but every time I play to start with everything works but then after a seemingly random amount of time a lot of the UI stops responding, some of the menu works but not anything that brings up an overlay/window like the map or quest screen. Tapping a location still shows the yellow dot or tapping an object shows a red one but my character doesn't move, I can still bring up context menus but again no response and tapping the minimal still places a flag but again no movement.
Can it be reproduced?: Yes. It's happened within a few minutes every time I've started the game.

I have same issue, after clean install it works and next time it crashes every time, on*y after reinstall it works once without crash.

I also send a feedback report via android with crash log and all my system info, also feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Edit: found a workaround, just launch app via Google Play and it doesnt crash on launch.

Like many people the app would close right on startup before the update of march 4.
but now it works again.
just not compatible in Play Store,
so i can't download it unless from a third party which is ill advised ofcourse.

Edit: << out of fear that it might be related to Authenticator i no longer save that data for the 30 days.

At the time of the crash I was: Black screen after loading bar, never makes it to login
Can it be reproduced?: Yes, every time I launch the app. The loading bar will fill all the way and go directly to a black screen.

Can it be reproduced?: Yes, it crashes every time the app starts. As indicated in earlier posts, the app doesn't crash immediately when launched via Google Play. But launcing from the home screen or the app-list crashes the app instantly.

Can it be reproduced?: yes

Freezes often. For a while i was able to adjust graphics settings west of yanille without problem but then freezes became so common i couldnt do anything aside from restart the app. The freezes also occurred at the GE and in port sarim.

At the time of the crash I was: The loading bar is filled until 20-25%, than it doesnt do anyting (I waited 20 minutes). No error message or anything
Can it be reproduced?: Yes, only need to start the app.

Edit: I solved it with restarting my phone, delete the app and download app again.
