Just delete the island and start again. It's as if they don't have any creative thinkers when coming to actual content.
Not sure if it's needed to go that far.

The Island itself is really nicely designed. Graphically, it's great. It's just entirely style over substance at this point. It needs a great deal of new content.

Beautifully designed, but they've messed up big time already. Dailyscape to log in to get your workers resources, no real new content added.

RS3 is definitely a lot different than OSRS. I believe this is all a take on what was done with Fossil Island on OSRS. Fossil Island is much easier to navigate because of the Digsite Ammy. This Fossil Island will require level 85 agility. When everything is eventually unlocked it seems like it will be quite interesting. If it is as advertised, the combination of Hunter and Slayer should prove to be quite interesting as well.

Unlock the Lodestone first, no requirement there, don't even need a Digsite Ammy.
Slayer Cape teleport also works to get to 2 points of Anachronia wgere Laniekea is situated.

And no, you don't need 85 agility to go to most parts of Anachroia. Even 30 agility can get you to a plot of places. You may need to look at a guide to get you started though.

Oh. And there will be more teleport options in Anachronia coming out according to the Jagex livestream.

Unfortunately so.

I was hoping for brand new herbs, potions, fish, logs, ores, you name it. I wish hoping for more exploration. I wanted to discover and explore dungeons and ruins.

I wanted to actually build my own base, using my own skills.

I was actually quite pleased with the update. As you said, the graphics on the island are very well done.

What I was disappointed with, however, was the lackluster introduction to the island (barring the cut scene -- that was nice). The Desperate Times quest and event of building the ship just wasn't enough. We should have had a quest that introduced us to Laniakea (part of her dialogue was as if she already knew us? Or we knew her? It was awfully confusing and seemed as though we should have already been introduced to her) and the island. For such a momentous occasion for Varrock and the museum, to just have us, well, hop on a ship, discover an island, and be able to bring workers seemed very artificial.

There is definitely room for expansions to the island (including, if you've talked to Laniakea even once, dungeons and ruins underneath the island). That said, I would have liked to have more interaction with the ruins and statues on top of the island, too. Which, again, could have been accomplished with an introductory quest to the island.

We'll see where they go with it over the next couple months. I for one liked the update and think it holds promise.

The Graphics are nice.

However, the minimap depicting the map is not detailed enough, many things are not clear and is blended in too far, there is no clear path to anywhere and locations, so you don't really use the minimap at all (may as well be the same as arc and have no minimap).

The map is just a labyrinth of paths, to me just wastes time and make it appear long than it real needs to be. There is huge spaces for more activities, but it just sits empty. But also gives opportunity for future content (lets hope so).

I reckon Player Owned Farm should be moved to Anachronia near the home base. This should also de-clutter a bit in the Kingdom of Kandarin. One might assume Anachronia has more fertile land for a farm and farms are usually located near forest/rural area. So I though it be a perfect place. They can even extend it with more pens to be Ultra size pen for dinosaur you can breed.

The Dinosaurs are really good slayer xp and decent money (3m/hrs) so I’m not sure what you’re on about there. The plants though could use a buff. The new unique drops will also make them more worthwhile.

WOW the plants could use a buff?

Must be nice to have BILLION gp codex's and top end gear.....

Not everyone in RS can afford BILLIONS to for ONE class of combat, heck I can't even afford a top end weapon let alone the armor and ridiculous codex's.....

If you are talking about the vine blooms, if you can kill fast that is great, if you are stuck using t80 gear good luck not getting perm snared to death and no the ability Freedom doesn't work, not that you would know that because you can probably 4 hit them to death.

Jagex needs to realize not everyone has billions sitting around and can afford top end gear, perhaps it is time for a WHAT YOU ARE WEARING COMBAT MATCHING system.

They want to match your combat level to npcs, why not the gear you are wearing, that makes a much bigger difference than your levels by far.
