I knew it doesen't matter if content was made soloable. Everyone would still complain about difficulty of content. In story mode mentioned millions of times it's a joke and you can kill bosses with level 50 gear. Only difference is that killing them with lower level gear will take longer.

I feel like Jagex forgot all about or are ignoring the results of the survey they did that showed the majority of players main reason for not doing or liking a quest is hard bosses. Its the reason I went from loving quests to pretty much not doing them for the last five years.

They said they wouldn't go on what the majority wanted. It's what's best for the game overall.

If true could easily be translated as : We at jagex studios do not give a toss what players think or want and we have plans to add more pages to our vast and ever growing catalogue of mistakes.

If everyone wanted max spirit shards in bank it should happen.

As someone who only does PvM intermittently, I find challenging bosses (and puzzles) to be the most crucial aspect of questing. Even more so than the lore. A story that engages you is great and all, but you could easily read a book or watch a movie to that effect. What books and movies don't offer, however, is the satisfaction that arises from overcoming strenuous mental and "physical" challenges.

Accordingly, the same should apply here. Now, I haven't done the new quest (nor any of the EDs) yet, but I'm sure I could handle it solo in the "Story" mode with easily accessible T70/75s. Apparently, it gives 90% damage reduction. Nine-ty PERCENT. Seems as though you couldn't die in this mode if you tried. Even so, anyone who has gotten past Sliske, Nomad, Greg, Rabid Jack, the Pharaoh, Drakan etc. should be able to breeze through this quest. Otherwise, you're just complaining just to complain because you clearly haven't completed much older quests yet.

If you're genuinely stuck, though; you might have a... condition... In which case, a game like Club Penguin should be more your speed.

If it’s 90%, yeah, dungeons would be a ‘walk in the park’ but:

Funny... last I checked the wiki, enemies dealt 66% less damage, not 90%.

It's 90% less damage in story mode 50% less health.

So, just had chance to get back on and see some responses. Given my 'passive-aggressive' (can't remember who said that) attitude to others I thought I'd just refer all those people to the times when PvMers have whined and complained about puzzles in quests, about having to gain some non-combat skill for a quest, about having to do anything but bossing for a quest.

But I expect a lot of you either don't remember those times or don't want to - because Jagex always caved. Remember the quest where you could pay to get past a puzzle? PvMers were so worked up about a simple puzzle that they insisted that they shouldn't have to do it - and they go their own way.

So, in my whiney way, I'm going to emulate all you unsympathic PvMers out there and complain bitterly about having to do a 3 elite dungeons in order to regain my quest cape.

And I'm going to remember this next time Jagex produce something that you don't like and, instead of sympathising as I normally do, I'm going to not support. Not that it will matter because Jagex have learnt their lesson and never put anything in game that might upset the minds of typical PvMers.

By the way, this is not directed at all those PvMers that either don't care if EDs are in or out of a quest or all those who have some sympathy - it is directed at those who appear to think that I shouldn't be able to disagree with someone who has an opinion different to mine and to state that they have no empathy - apparently, if I disagree with them, I'm in the wrong but they are entitled to their opinion - weird world we live in.

You mean monkey madness quest? I don't ever remember any pvmers complaining about requirements for anything. You can do all 3 elite dungeons in story mode. Outside of the ambassador they are easier then most quest bosses.

And story mode is basically the same as the example you gave but for questers. Yes, its not a free pass like the buy to complete a puzzle, but the puzzle is just a small part of the quest and story mode is 10x easier (quite literally).

So with these 2 examples, you've put questers and pvmers on even ground.

I know your comment isn't directed at me, as you've stated, but I'm just stating that your argument doesn't really hold. I don't mean to be unsympathetic or w/e.

Damn no offense but ppl can't be this bad. Bosses are a joke in story mode. If you can't do them then wait till those deathtouch darts come out. we will get 4 this month.
