oh noooooooooo you didn't get what you specifically wished for and now you have to cry. how about you don't participate in glorified gambling activities in general if you don't like a randomized outcome?

Well - technically they're a super rare prize (purple gem reward) - Rare != Good after all. At least see it like this - if you had gotten proteans you wouldn't have cleared that reward slot permanentely.

Does it actually increase your chances for the better rewards, though? Back when A Friend did his experiment, winning all the luckies and other one-time rewards did make winning 200m gp much easier (to a point where all purple wins were 200m gp), but now that proteans are in the mix + Jagex learned that winning 200m gp so often was bad, it could simply be that you'll always have the same chance to roll on the lucky item table, and after you've exhausted it, the chances to win proteans are increased to replace the void that the empty lucky table left behind.

what I think is this: it keeps the same table, but when it rolls an already obtained item it'll reroll the same table. this technically will make proteans more common the more lucky items you have. however it will also very slightly increase the chance at 200m. they could ofcourse have a fix in place preventing the dropchance on 200m to be above a certain % even with all luckies out of the table
