- Hire Death to "duo" any boss with you. You and Death autotele to the chosen boss, Death instakills it and keeps the loot. You unlock the song(s) and receive a kill to the counter. - Comes at the cost of 500 reaper points per kill. - Telos comes as the minimum enrage.
* The cost is 33-35m per kill depending on the hydrix price. This means that the player has a clear motive to practice the boss they want to kill. That's for example an easy way to waste ~200m worth of hydrixes just to get the elite dung bosses killed. * This "easy" version requires a lot of bossing. 6 elite dungeon bosses + Solak + Rago + Angel of Death + Telos + Durzag + Yaka = 6000 points. That's a lot of easier bosses and you'd still have to kill Rax, Nex, Rots, and KK for example. If you're ready to throw that mount of points away, you've really done some serious bossing on low/mid tier bosses for ages. * The idea is similar as thalers are for the (trim) castle wars req: you can complete the req by grinding other similar themed (minigames/bossing) activities for ages without having to do the "actual" req. * As no drops are given to the player, the boss log won't be affected and insane final boss title is impossible. Final boss would still be possible, however the cost would be abyssmal even if you used this method just to complete one boss. I can't imagine everyone else than some Youtube celebrities doing 100 Solak kills for example with 50 000 slayer points after being able to get 100 kills on all the other bosses. * Trim would still require mauling Rago and 100% enrage Telos. Once again, if you can do those and affort spending hundreds or thousands of reaper points, you've done in my opinion enough bossing to be worthy of the trim.
no clue if people already said this but maybe just let max cape get the already unlocked cape effects you own. Cause honestly I could care less for the capes stats but the extra bank/inventory space for effects/teleports is kind of the only thing worth it on comp cape for non-bossing players. Edit* could even be something unlocked at max cape +120 slayer/invention/dungeoneering

they don't need to change the stats. they just need to get rid of the boss kill requirement. some people aren't skilled enough to kill the hardest bosses in the game, why are they excluded simply because they cannot do something. it promotes account sharing, extortionate prices of people selling kills (which can be easily be scammed) and it gives the person that wants to get the comp cape a good reason to stop playing the game simply due to the fact that it's impossible because of 1 thing on the required list. all of which are bad for jagex.

Nothing does need to be changed other than the boss/reaper reqs.
Honestly I can't see why the those particular reqs. being removed from the comp cape is such an issue, if this topic is just going to revolve around semantics then rename it to something that doesn't sound like it requires "completion of everything" and have the trimmed comp be the true "comp cape".
In fact, following that same logic the comp cape isn't a "completionist" cape even with those reqs. because it doesn't have the further reqs. which the trimmed comp does thus doesn't require completion of everything in the game.
I can even use myself as an example of how much of a barrier those two particular boss reqs. are, I have a TBI (more specifically frontal lobe cortex brain damage) and I can tell you now calling it a handicap when under pressure and/or multi tasking is selling it short:
