I'll give a summary here

I have proposed a major expansion to the fletching skill, my main hopes are to make fletching f2p, give new players an easier time to train and try out ranged over melee, add new ranged weapon types and ammo for players of all sorts of play styles

Currently the game is too melee focused and driven at all levels, I aim with my proposal to make ranged just as viable for pvp, pvm and change it up so it's not just use blowpipe or twisted bow always, this aims to add a more consistent ranged weapon variety at all levels

I have proposed three new weapon types, slings, wood crossbows and throwing clubs, these would be ideal for more causal ranged training and for players on a dime or pvp

Additionally ranged would gain new silver options for fighting vampyres and werewolves so they do not need to use silver bullets always

Black,white, silver and blurite ammo and weapons would be expanded and given more use for players and it would fill in the missing parts


Ammo is expanded more to include different bones, stones, kebbits and even wood and burnt food so players have more options and an item sink for them

certain npc stores are now expanded and improved\

some items that couldn't be fletched or created by players now are able to be created by players


I feel that this would rebalance ranged and help new players alot as well as old players and make ranged more able to keep up with melee who can use a single weapon and never run out of ammo

additionally with the new things for p2p, i feel that making fletching f2p would be fair and acceptable if p2p got the new things i am proposing

While I like the actual idea of bone spikes and bayonets, Range is already the most powerful combat style. The other stuff is fine.

You realize that in this time they could come out with another raiding challenge, right....? Seema like a total waste of dev time. Don't solely bash risky drop tables and not the risk-free ones then wonder why the JGods shut your opinions out when analyzing why PvP polls never pass.
