Hi I wasn't sure where to post this. I couldn't find the glitch/tech support page? But I'm not even sure if this is a glitch or what.

A few months ago I bought 24,130 steel platebodies for a total price of 54M

I come back today, first time I've logged in since a few months. Check the G.E offers, I see my steel plate bodies have Bought, so I click for them to come into my inventory in note form.

BUT I see they strangely appear to come in my inventory as UNOTED for a split second, then disappear, then all I see in my inventory are 1206k Steel Item Tokens..... ? ???!

I know there's a Mining Smith rework, but I am very confused because I can see that you are still able to buy steel platebodies. So why was I given these tokens instead..? I am a bit concerned because apparently the only way to get my money back is by exchanging them for stuff and selling it on G.E (apparently no one buys tho so would take FOREVER?..) or alching, I don't have the time to alch these days..., and definitely wont to do that if I hardly make back the main amount I lost..

What should I do? I have print screens and proof of all my transactions. Even a print screen showing me about to obtain the steel platebodies lol.. What do I do?!

Hi Tru Blood.

The platebodies have been replaced with tokens following the Mining & Smithing rework, which went live last month. You can exchange the tokens for steel items, or for the new steel salvage items if you want to disassemble or high alch them, or steel ingots if you want them for summoning.

Please see the Wiki for more information:

Inevitably, the rework has changed the economy for smithed items, ores and bars, and that economy is still settling down, so please do some research before exchanging the tokens so you can make the best use of them.
Glad to be of service :) (Powered by GPP™ - Share and Enjoy!)

Thanks for the info though. I'll try and work out best thing to do tomorrow..

Definitely no chance of a Mod perhaps taking a little look at my buying history and refunding me then? ;) lol. Because It does seem strange that I was given tokens instead of steel platebodies WHEN steel platebodies are still actual items and can be bought and sold as such still?! that's what's odd to me.

If you want items to disassemble for Invention - exchange the tokens for items.
If you plan on Summoning - exchange the tokens for steel ingots.
If you want to recover your money - exchange the tokens for salvage for alching.
