Hey Jeremy, 4ev, Oh Hey and Joe, thank you all for the kind words, it means a lot!
Tuffty had brought this attention to my thread. Seeing this really put a smile on my face, and started my day on a high note.
My goal here is to be as fair as possible while carrying out my moderation duties. So I do my best to keep things as clean as possible, while trying to allow the discussions to flow without much interruption.
It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to communicate with all of you and read what you guys have to say. I look forward to continuing to see you guys around here!
I just LOVE seeing the purple posts where it often feels like maybe Jagex isn't showing evidence of reading threads. I am sure, like myself, many Jmods DO read threads and make no response, but the footprint left by a colored Mod Post makes it feel like the thread mattered.10 200ms. Despite the current LMod accounts that we're using for these forums, we're certainly an extension of the Community Management team, and we work closely with them in sharing noteworthy threads, discussions, suggestions, issues, topics, etc with our direct point of contacts at Jagex.
While we might not always mention that we're passing something onto them, we're always looking to pass things on whenever possible.
We communicate daily with the JMods on the Community Management team. So rest assured, Nick and I do everything we can to amplify the community's voices and draw attention to noteworthy threads on these forums. Community Manager for Jagex
I'm really liking that you explain why you're actioning or not actioning a report. Makes a big difference! It's a lot nicer having unbiased people moderating the forum, rather than some who are clearly friends with other Forum users <Players against animal abuse>
