Hello,

When a thread is moved, it currently has a locked icon - and the title has (Moved) in it - why not an arrow?

Also, you need to click once you clicked on the thread again you get a message that the thread has been moved to an other forum and a option to click to the new location; why can't we go directly to the new location?
I don't have a signature, but wanted to have some content here.

I understand where you are coming from, what you said make sense. I will not defend the current behavior of the thread move, it is a by-product of the legacy forum software we are using. All the technical limitations of RSOF was due to this legacy forum software.

I have to remind you that us players aren't the only ones using The RSOF but JMods / Jagex also use these very same forums.
If a JMod is working in a specific forum it is quite easy to skip those threads that doesn't belong there neither do they have to check where it was moved to.

moved = message that this thread is being in the wrong forums (JMods can skip such threads)
new link = for players to follow through The RSOF and find that thread were it got relocated to

Nothing to do with being ancient / legacy or anything else, it's just a process that works for both sides of The RSOF. :)

The RSOF is like OSRS but without polled updates. Updates that happen once every decade.

Its more RSC if you added updates. The forums get updates every few years, but are run on very old base code, so they dont always come, out as you expect.

That's honestly crazy that it works like that. Please remember that the forum is not for debating. It is for echoing views only. If you see someone opposing someone else's views, please report this so it can be dealt with.
