Just saying, but just because you have auth enabled doesn't make it a perfect set up.
Ive heard that ppl even with auth and 2-step still have gotten hacked so even if it was enabled all the hacker would need to do is disable it and they could still change your name just like they can now.
That's why it's important to have your email secure. I think this might also be the reason why the OP suggested to send via email.

I mean my suggestion is authenticator, but I wonder how the community will feel about that. It's harder to bypass the authenticator than it is with a bank pin. As I've said again, since changing your name can only be done once a month, it's not too much of a hassle
