It might not as I personally wouldn’t be making it as I’d have to go through a third party to have it made so I would be purchasing the mouse from someone else which is commercial in nature so, I guess I’m going to go with the side of caution and not do it just to a avoid any legal issues. But maybe Jagex could look into offering products like this in the future as I’d most definitely purchase one from them.
When using a third party to fulfil a specified commercial activity you, together with the company you are employing, will enter into a contract. You need to ask to see the terms of their contracted business. it may specify that they will not use any client issued imagery for anything other than the intended contract and that the client hold all rights to the imagery (temporary or otherwise).
